Yep, they were both the stand outs and I'd still struggle to split them. Mig has been exceptional for us but what I've seen of Begovic he has been too for Stoke, they just simply can't score goals from the looks of it. Would be happy to see them go down, don't like the team, don't like Hughes at all.

He's far too good to still be at Stoke.

Remember when everyone was raving about Hart and saying he's the best in the league....wrong, he was just in good form and form is temporary. He's been sh*t and dropping clangers for the past year.

Just caught up with yesterdays game.

I'm sorry, but City have just become another Chelsea, another chav-tastic team.

If Pellegrini honestly believes that disallowed goal was offside, well he needs care in the community. It may have been off-side in the 1970's but rules have changed old man.

I just wish that for once a manager would admit the ref got it wrong , and they benefited from it.

City have just bought an 80% stake in a Melbourne team, rumour has it that City wanted Aussie RED as part of the deal as well but LFCREDS have a controlling interest in IAN and  refused to sell him.

Never sell my soul mate to anyone other then the Mighty LFC mate ;D.

Woke up to the news this morning mate. Was gobsmacked. Melbourne Heart are sh*t and I'm pretty positive they sit at or near the very bottom of the A League so can't understand their interest coupled with the fact we have a Salary Cap in the League over here so can't see them using their millions to buy players and stick them in the squad. Also Harry Kewell playes for Heart so they're fu**ed anyway.  ;)

One win all season and sit dead last and they've got that lazy injury prone crock of sh*t Kewell as their captain. Salary cap won't be a problem, in theory Man City could buy the players and then loan them to Melbourne and pay their wages.

i believe this is the strategy.  wouldnt be surprised to see mancity buy up alot of young talent and playing for melbourne would be better practice / growth than the reserve team.

if this is true, savvy play

Heard this was going to happen last week.

They're going to build the club off the pitch first and foremost. That's from a Heart board member's mouth. Trying to make them the team in Melbourne and aggressively get the club in shape. Then clear the sh*t from the team and rebuild that.

How do you think John Aloisi feels? :D

Tonight they play Barcelona in the Champions League.

Bless.  Bluemoon's in meltdown, they've given up on the title, have no hope against Barca, need to spend s**t loads of money to improve the squad and want Pellegrini sacked  :lmao:

It's crazy what one result can do to a team's fans mentality. Yesterday City were talking of winning the treble, today they don't think they'll win the league just because of a one off performance. Their problems have come about from starting Demichelis. His foul and red card cost them in the Champions League and he gave away a penalty today. It pisses me off sometimes when teams think they have a right to win a game and that looked like City's mentality today. It's completely arrogant and foolish.

They have one of the largest, most expensive squads the footballing world has ever seen, so they'll always be in with a shout of trophies. But there's always a chance in football, and Pellegrini isn't exactly a top-tier manager. Only down side to the Wigan shock was the fact that Arsenal should now win the trophy

We're all the same when it comes to our teams.

We want to be winning every game, every trophy, we want the best players, the best Manager and when we don't we wallow in self pity feeling like it's the end of the world and everyone's out to get us  ;)

enjoyed watching Barca stroll past these divs. They weren't that great, but City were nowhere near good enough. Two down, now we only have Chelsea to be knocked out, and United.

      Hopefully
