I'm not surprised they're getting rid of Hart for talent reasons -- good enough keeper, but massively overrated and can be improved upon -- but it's a shock considering the only other English players they have are the holy trinity of Sterling, Stones and Delph.

Read an article from one of the daily's here in the UK and they questioned 'What is the reasoning behind dropping Hart?'The English media is reacting to Hart's dropping as though it's something astonishing. Just giving hint yet again of the delusion/arrogance within the English footballing media, the response has been one as though they never saw it coming. Like Rooney and so many English "stars" they just can't see that, actually, these players aren't the leading players in their position. There is some great sports journalism in this country but they are to be found in other sports. The English footballing journalism reflects the delusion and arrogance of the game within England, a sort of delusion and arrogance that encourages further, the crusty old grey cronies to appoint shameless cowards like Hodgson.

Aguero hasn't only missed some chances in open play tonight, he has also missed 2 penalties with 1 being saved similar to Walcott's and the other went over the bar.

He has a shocking penalty record if I remember rightly.

Still, I would sell my nan to see him missing them at Liverpool.

Is right. I mean, Hart isn't a bad keeper, but he certainly isn't this world class one he's made out to be.

Think his record in the prem is pretty good, scores virtually all of them but in Europe it's shocking, think he has missed something like his last 4 now with the other 2 being against PSG and Barca.

Wonder how empty the ground was at that point

They are a complete mess defensively. Stones has been sh*te and carried on his form from last season and as for their keeper, wow! I don't rate Joe Hart but Hart must be wondering where the hell it all went wrong for him to be binned off for Bravo. Stones and Bravo, can see them two continuing to be at fault for goals.

KDB is a worry though, he was class.

they are playing some fantastic football of late.

definitely a nod towards title if they can keep it up. just finished watching their bournemouth game and most if not all of their goals are top drawer

They are but the average league position of their opponents so far has been 16th. Take the Mancs out and it's even lower.
Our average is 8th. Take Burnley out (ironically) and its higher.

      Their next 6 games:

      Swansea (a) (League Cup)
      Swansea (a)
      Celtic (a)
      Spurs (a)
      Everton (h)
      Barcelona (a)

Spurs and Barca the obvious challenges. But then they have a handy run again after that. December will reveal alot about them:

      Chelsea (h)
      Celtic (h)
      Leicester (a)
      Watford (h)
      Arsenal (h)
      Hull (a)
      Liverpool (a)

Plus another potential League Cup match against a tough side at the end of November.

They fixtures have fallen nicely for them, I just hope that they haven't pulled too far away by the time they're challenged.

Nah not buying it yet they've had a F***ing easy run playing a sh*te defunct United as their toughest opponent on paper to date even though Pep has said Bournemouth was their toughest game.

Not convinced with them yet or believing they will walk it like many are saying.

Not saying they'll walk it, but they look pretty good right now. I'd say it will be between us and then to see who wins it this season.

They looked better at the start of last season IMO, they had the same sort of run but were conceding a lot less goals with Kompany playing. Then they fell apart.

Been thinking about this over the weekend and I genuinely cannot wait to play these. That's not intended to come across as cockiness or arrogance, but I just know that we are the one team they don not want to play. I don't think they were concerned going into the Manchester Derby, Chelsea have been shown up, Arsenal don't look anything special either and I think Spurs still have an inferiority complex in big games. But they know we turn up, they know we will make their lives hell, they know they're expected to get up and attack and they know they can't leave us an inch. It's a shame we have to wait until December 31st.
