Was discussing these c*nts in our office today and nobody feels they will meet with punishment severe enough to significantly alter the playing field once this PL investigation is complete. Lots of cynicism about those involved and money changing hands. I feel the league is a bit ridiculous with them in it at present. Totally undermines the competition.
I'm a bit optimistic that the Premier league will enforce a significant punishment on them. A lot of the other clubs have been talking a lot more about FFP. United, Newcastle and Wolves are obvious examples in the recent transfer window, clubs that would usually be expected to spend big have been quite public about staying within FFP.
Even City were not spending much money, although they have built up a very big squad during the years they were breaking FFP rules.
I think this shows that clubs are starting to take FFP seriously and maybe they know that City are going to be hit with a big punishment.
