You know in one breath its pre season fitness means more than results, in the next breath its worrying how little we havent added to our squad in the summer. I do still think we are missing something and not quite there yet, if im honest and im not sure what pre season in Asia is really doing confidence wise, making money wise you can see but either way theres no excuse we have 1 good striker and I really dislike Voronin but anyone in the squad going to step up to the plate and make a name for themselves because we could sure use it =/

Feeling a bit more relaxed about this game for some reason. Probably something to do with seeing Rafa etc having a laugh and looking really at ease.

One thing is for sure. Fitness and sharpness can fade in the summer. But the team spirit is a lot more stronger these days and with all the lads back - regardless of the annoying Alonso and Gerrard saga - we should begin to really get back on track from where we left off last season.

I'm confident we will win this one. And I reckon we'll play a bit better than previously.

For me this pre-season doesn't feel right yet.Fernando's appearance in the last game seemed to improve things, but the performannce of the squad overall seems piss poor at this stage of pre-season.Ok, so Stevie G's absence would always be a problem, but now is the time for others to stand up and be counted, anyone suceeded yet?

Fernando Torres, Jamie Carragher, Daniel Agger and Pepe Reina will be visiting a Carlsberg bar while Xabi Alonso, Dirk Kuyt, Albert Riera and Emiliano Insua will be taking part in adidas related events.

Had the pleasure of shaking hands with Mascherano and Arbeloa. Then they signed my poster and shirt, took a picture with both of them and shaked hands again!!

Then there was this lucky draw which was giving training passes- something that I DIDN't have. I didnt win the lucky draw, but then GUESS WHAT.

As I was walking back to the carpark with my mum, some kind soul stopped me and GAVE ME A TRAINING PASS!!!

Nothing else needs to be said, I'm gonna get changed and go off pretty soon.
