I don’t think I said it’s 100% Lewis colour because he lost, but when you listen to outgoing Todt, retired Jackie Stewart & that racist Bernie then you can’t but help feeling it can’t be because if racing and holding onto records..? Surely it’s not about a black man dominating the sport... you can’t help but ‘feel’ that way..

Well, those ARE old white men (in the worst possible sense of the stereotype), so it makes sense.  ;)
But as I said, as an organization, the FIA is more than those guys.

I think this has more to do with Lewis being denied a 8th title because he is Black & to protect Schumachers legacy…

Not just old white men mate, I know Lewis has upset a few of the old guard with his BLM & Rainbow stance, old heads don’t like change..

The power & money men don’t like the spotlight being pointed into the affairs..

I really don't think Todt and the FIA were looking to protect Schumacher's records. If they wanted to do that they'd have started a long time ago because he doesn't hold many now as a result of Lewis's supremacy!

Todt's been a great FIA President. When you compare him to his predecessor Mosley, it's like night and day. Gone were the days of interference, gruesome, kangaroo courting behaviour of F1 teams and in came someone who is a diplomatic master (unsurprising given how he renewed Ferrari). F1 threatened to break numerous times under the ghastly Mosley, Todt very much held it together.

So its a crying shame therefore that his tenure has ended on the most sour note. The reality is that the FIA haven't checked F1's growing obsession of entertainment over sport and ultimately became consumed by it. Its something the new President will have to be aware of and act upon.

Oh dear. Not a good start from the newbie.

But I'm not worried. If they start overreaching themselves then the manufacturers will just up sticks and tell them to F**k off. That's the good thing about f1 - the big manufacturing beasts will always have the best hand to play.

been watching some of Lewis's Karting days and GP2 stuff firstly his Kart number was 44 which I didnt realise but his GP2 from back marker after a spin to podium was just on a different level and never touched a wheel the guy is just such a natural and a joy to watch.
just get on you tube and watch him in Karting and GP2 he is just an artist in a car I really didnt realise just how good he is.

Really speaks of the arrogance and sense of entitlement that he thinks he can slot himself into (and probably pay top dollar) an f1 car only to have next to no talent when he can't keep it in a straight line.

Thousands of hours of work from hard working engineers and mechanics and millions of pounds go into making those cars so to see them wrecked because of some dunce with money is painful to see.

Well if any of those threats came with mis-spelling and mis-use of the English language whilst using the nickname Hammy, I think we know where to look

F1 has really become nasty on social media after Silverstone. On both sides...

In other news, fans that attended the Spa GP won’t get their money back. They've been offered some pitiful compensation (an annual access to F1TV, and a 'lottery ticket' for a chance to attend next year's GP).
At the same time, F1 and the FOM are raking in millions. Fans really do not matter...

A one lap race in Abu dabi and a  2 lap race in Spa. Yes Max was clearly the winner without any assistance from on high

It really makes you think though doesn't it... I mean how bad a race must Latifi have been having to be racing a Haas??

No, no but seriously, that's pretty grim what he's had to face.

Not a word from the FIA on Massi and still no confirmation on Lewis . Interesting how all sporting Governing bodies treat the punters like the hired help.
Hope Lewis has a good rest and thinks very carefully about his next move I for one would not trust Masi.

There's no way Masi can keep his job. At least, there shouldn't be. It's not just Lewis/Mercedes fuming, many drivers were also left utterly confused by his call in AD (and also throughout the season, if we're being honest). He has absolutely no credibility in the paddock.

Perhaps I'm being cynical, but I can't help but wonder whether the rumours surrounding Lewis retirement are legit, or just some PR to try and force the FIA into a decision...

I’m pretty sure of one thing! If Massi keeps his job Hammy  may not come back. Surely his position is untenable now.

I’m surprised Brawn didn’t speak much on the robbery that took place in Abu Dhabi… unusually quiet for him…

      This what I think ….

Lewis won’t retire, he’ll win the historic 8th title next season & extend for another couple of years …

Merc didn’t up upgrade their car much this season..

The new W13 sounds impressive…& I think on track it’s going to dominate..

Great to see. I always thought they fired up in the New Year so maybe we'll on schedule/ahead of it.

Looking forward to seeing what they produce with next year's car. The master that is James Allison moved upstairs last year to focus on the new formula so have high expectations.
