British Bulldog was called Bulldogs Charge when we were at school.

Murder Ball runs along the lines of everyone beating the crap out of the person with the ball until he gets rid of it doesn't it?

Or i could be very wrong ;D.

Ah yes! We used to do one where two teams have goals and basically anything goes wherever the ball is. Basically if you had the ball - you were gonna be decked.

It was basically the same concept as Dodgeball but instead of throwing the ball at people, you'd be kicking it at them. If you didn't control the ball with your feet and it hit you above knees then everyone would run over and kick the sh*t out of you. So you had to be good with your feet. Loads of fun!

Footbags were massive in my primary school, it all started when a group of freestylers came in to assembly to show off. Within a week everyone had one

Pokemon was huge when I was in primary school aswell along with whatever "tazos" you could get in the Chip packets at the time.

Slightly off-topic but when I was in fifth grade they had I think it was little digimon things in the packets and while I was in class a crow went to my bag and stole my twisties which whatever was left of them was all over the floor outside the classroom and the response of one of the kids was "hey look what I found, at least you've got your digimon thing." ::)

I love this thread! Brings back many memories, even if it was just a couple of years ago for me. :D

I don't if these were popular else where. But everyone was obsessed with Scoobies in high school a couple of years ago.

You just get a whole packet of strings and make these weird things out of them. I've still got my collection.  :D

I remember Captain Scarlet when I was very young. I had an action man and I had loads of those parachute men too. Fly away balls were boss. Talking of that, remember these bad boys?

      And these?

Spot on. The illustrious Adidas Tango ball - and I think I had all of those YoYo's - the Fanta and Sprite ones as well.

Conkers - yep they were decent although mine we're always grim.

       Swaps?

What was that other annoying footie that was half-casey and half-flyaway?  I remember they didn't used to bounce and they were orange or red.

      Aerobie Sprint was excellent! :D

And I couldn't find any images, but I remember at one time everyone playing footy with those mini Coca-Cola balls, but that was the early 90's.

Something along those lines weren't they? ^^^^^^^^^^

I distinctly remember some of our mates having a few that Coca-cola made for Italia '90.

Those footy matches were great, 9-a-side round the back of the sports hall on a dinnertime.

      Happy days  ;D

More or less, there wasn't any black on them though, I don't think.

Them matches were ace, though the ball used to end up on top of that little building to the left, don't remember what it was for now.

Hahahahaha yeah i think that was our form classroom for a little while.

I remember a few spectacular wind assisted hoofs that ended with the ball on top of the sports hall.

Yo-yo's were absolutely fantastic! I could walk a dog, or two ;)

Those jacks things that you put on your knuckles.

      Pick up sticks.

      Pokemon!!!

Razorblades? I think thats what they were called. They had the battle arena and you spun yours against your mate and see who won. Fantastic game.

Isn't that raggy? If it hit you above the knee and below the neck, everybody got to dig you. Was much easier when the entire yard wasn't playing

German bas**rds was a good un as well. Another game where you got the sh*t kicked out of you, all for a letter. Pokemon cards ruled Windsor's yard an all, me and me mate Liam used to sell them

Pokemon cards, football stickers, yo-yo's, conkers...same as everyone else.

British bulldogs was awesome although it got banned in our primary school because of people running off crying when they got hurt.  We also used to play a game called red rover I think it was, where you link hands with your team and call a member from the other team then they'll try to break through.  If they fail to do that then they join that team and the winner is the team with the most people at the end.  Anyone else play this?

Cracking thread this, brings back memories. ;)

Haha Beyblade's! I think they were more of my younger bro's era though. Forgot about them, you could buy those circular 'arenas' for them too couldn't you!

My word that game shaped my childhood. So glad that someone else other than me and my mates know it as raggy. :lmao:

Pokemon cards were class too. £2.50 a packet. You could sell a half decent shiny for a tenner.

I remember we swapped this girl a shiny Snorlax for 5 Miaows, because she loved cats. :D Poor cow didn't see it coming. ;)
