Dont know if the show is called "World history". Izzard takes us through the history, from Gods creation of men and up to today and to the future. What the show is called Im not sure of. And if anybody find it on dvd, let me know!! :) :)

the world history is from Glorious, to my mind the best Eddie has done yet. can also recommend Dressed To Kill, Live from The Ambassidors, Unrepeatable, Circle, the Definite Article & Sexie (saw that in Newcastle a few years ago). he has also done loads on telly & been in several big movies - Oceans 12 stands out, also in Oceans 13 soon to be released!

most Eddie Izzard stuff can be found on Amazon or ebay.

Ricky Gervais is my all time favourite, Think he's a genius, Animals and Fame are hilarious. Quite partial to Peter Kay and Michael Macintyre too.

Frankie Boyle and Michael McIntyre are the best current ones I reckon. A couple of good ones on McIntyre's Comedy Roadshow too. Can't remember their names but there was a Scottish guy on the first one I think...had me in stitches talking about being stabbed by a friendly mad man in Glasgow and 10p crisps costing 15p. :D

Jack Dee, Lee Evans and Dara O'Brain are also good.

He was indeed. I just looked him up and I think his name is Kevin Bridges. Can't find anything else with him on youtube though apart from a load of vids of that performance on the Comedy Roadshow. Was awesome though. ;)

Agree with what has been said.

Boyle and McIntyre are the two best current ones in my opinion. Very different styles but both are extremely funny.

I'm not really sure about Jimmy Carr. Sometimes he'll come out with something that I'll laugh at, other times it's a bit...

He's got a really strange style when doing stand up I think - there's no real flow he just kinda fires them out on after the other!

Awesome list there...I like every single one of them.

Not a fan of Russell Howard though, very rarely makes me laugh.
