In case any of you are not familiar with the greatest ever......a wee taster:

George Carlin - Religion is bullshit.

George Carlin...The Best Ever! The man sums up just about all of my personal philosophies.

I quite like Chis Rock, too.

I don't know many of the British comedians, besides Eddie Izzard & Ricky Gervais. I've never seen Gervais' stand-up, but I have seen Izzard's. He had me rolling.

Does Steve Coogan do stand-up? I've thought he was hilarious in everything I've seen him in. I just look at him and start giggling.

Freddie Starr, the fella is quality. An audience with him was on tonight on ITV3. Not the most orthodox comedian but still funnier than most.

Best comedians of all time -

      Billy Connolly
      Jesper Carrot
      Dave Allen

      Best at the moment -

      Jimmy Carr.

      Favourite's Frankie Boyle.

      By an absolute mile.

Then probably McIntyre. Both completely different to each other - but both very funny.

Agree with Ross, but McIntyre, then Boyle.

Other than that I'll say the black guy that was on Comedy Roadshow a good few months ago now, completely forgot his name though. Anyone?

Don't know if he's been mentioned but John Bishop the scouse comedian is very funny, I hadn't really heard of him till he came on the comedy roadshow with Rhod Gilbert, but he was great, so good that I'm considering getting his DVD. Anyone seen him?

I went to see Russell Howard last night, all I can say is WHAT A FUNNY GUY.

Spoke about wanting to be a Unicorn when he grew up due to being able to Stab people with his head,
How Lady Gaga would be put in a home if she was 50+, as she is insane.
Getting blowjobs and noticing Cotton Buds.
      And Harry Potter sex

Funny as hell, and I would recommend you all get to see him if the chance arizes.

Theo Maassen, he's dutch so unfortunately I can't show any clips, but he's genius, seen him perform several times. A nice story, he's a big PSV Eindhoven fan. In 2001 he was a guest in a dutch football talkshow. Apparently they had asked him to bring a football relic of some kind. So what does he bring? The actual UEFA cup PSV won in 1978! The tv host and the other guest(Stan Valckx, former PSV player) were both completely flabbergasted. He stole it on the day one of his best friend's became father of a daughter, and he gave it as a present to his daughter. Apparently he was pissed at PSV at the time because of some stuff that was going on.

Who's that guy who appears on Mock The Week sometimes? Think he's American. His jokes are usually very short and are frequently a play on words. Tall with brown/black hair.

      Jimmy Carr,
      Bill Bailey,
      Dara O'Briain,
      Ed Byrne,
      Stewart Francis,
      Jack Dee,
      Frankie Boyle,
      Michael McIntyre.

      There's my favourites. Top Drawer.

I'd subtract Ed Byrne and Stewart Francis simply because Ed Byrne is a tw*t. I'm Irish and I think he's a c**t. Don't know the other guy.

I'd add Tommy Tiernan and Hugh Dennis to that list though.

Couldn't resist, considering the speech impediment.  As for comedians, I really like what I've seen of Adam Hills.
