Liverpool have got no chance of filling a 60,000 seater.
we would!  just think how many people give up on the phones and online for each ticket sale.  now i've joined the membership, i don't bother with the general sale now.  best just to wait for the exchange, which seems to be working a treat this year.

Liverpool always struggle for these games that are not at the weekend and are on TV.

      The reason?

Well you could blame it on the ticket prices - but you could also blame it on the fact that the club have alienated most of the local fans. Local fans who would happily pop down to the Anfield ticket office but don't want the ballache of ringing up a chaotic telephone system based in Chester and then paying £2.50 to get a ticket posted to them when the stadium is a couple of miles away.

The rest of these tickets should be on sale at the windows at Anfield.

I completely agree.  i'm not local, but do think that when the new stadium is eventually built, then at least 5000 of the tickets should be window sales, to ensure local support and atmosphere is maintaned in the stadium.  Unfortunately, the club don't see the local support, although fiercely loyal, as money generating and would rather have remote ticket sales so people from far can buy tickets and have their day out at Anfield and spend loads of cash on merchandise.

Just a bit of a shout out to the foreign supporters...yesterday in the Kop the five people sitting in front of me were Norwegian I think (I say this cos they spoke in a german-like manner but one of them looked like JAR) and they sang for most the game with us. One of their lads did feel the need to instead of watch the game, record the entire thing on his mobile whilst stood on his seat.

But anyways, window sales only happen for Carling Cup games. LFC view local support as a last resort when it comes to selling tickets.

Every where I used to park is now resident parking only so it tends to cost me £35 a time in fines :(

No idea fella, every place I used to park is resident only now, so I will get up earlier and have as scout round for somewhere without yellow lines, there are a few schools etc that do matchday parking for about a Fiver

There is one school about a hundred yards up Walton Breck Road just past the cabbage also Hope Valley Community Primary School which is Everton Valley end of Walton Breck Road

There is a College on Utting Avenue where we parked the other night, £8.00 to park but its very secure and it's cheaper than a fine, you do have to be there early though and there is a bit of a queue to get out and the car park closes an hour after the game, so no Cabbage visits  ;)

There is the odd "free" car parking spot around the estates if you keep your eye out and get there early.
