I think its as you get older you become more of a chicken when it comes to heights. I remember as a kid, the lads and I would go looking for the tallest tree to climb but now its a different story. I was up the top of the Eiffel tower not too long ago and as soon as I was up there I couldn't wait to get down.
These boys have some set of balls to do that.
I dont know about the UK. But in the US the majority of the Iron Workers who walk the beams 120 stories in the air, are usually American Indian. For whatever reason, American Indians or Native American's excel at those Jobs. They dont have fear of heights or vertigo.
They also make $100.000 a year so the money is good.
