Same as Andy, Stephen Graham who plays detective  David Kelly the main character, actually lived near the scene of the murder, willing to bet he had to fight back the tears on occasion.

The thought that kids are gunning kids down is quite a sickening thought mate and people that hide them are no better .

      FA Cup build up.

I normally work a Saturday and wondering has there always been this much build up in recent years?

Always here people talking about how much they miss the build up on TV so is this new thing from the Beeb or have people been exaggerating the lack of build up?

Watching the Scottish Cup final. Celtic v Aberdeen - as good a final as could have hoped for. Hoping to see Brendan's Celtic seal their first domestic treble since 2001.

Not really Si although there's plenty I like. I have soft spots for the Highland clubs Ross County and Inverness Caley Thistle given north of Scotland background on my mum and dad's side. I like Celtic having lived in East end of Glasgow for much of the last 7 years. That said I was born in Shetland which technically means my nearest local professional club from birth was SK Brann in Bergen!

Treble it is then for Celtic. They were pretty poor today though. Aberdeen will feel hard done by considering how late it was.

Darn. Never seen it. Loved Shaun of the Dead and Hot Fuzz even better. Brother saw this one but said it wasn't as good as those ones. Will have to see it to judge myself.

Anyhow Jaws is on which isn't a bad substitute. I almost forget that it's a Spielberg effort given that there is so much brilliance going on aside from the reputation of the director. Can't decide whether it's his best film. Think it'd have to be a three way play off between that, Raiders and Schindler's List.

It's a touch below those two mate but enjoyable none the less.

Trying to pick Spielbergs best film is a tough job.

      Indeed. Fearless.

It's one of my favourite times of the year as the football season ends.

NW 200 over here in Northern Ireland closely followed by the TT.

This Millionaire reboot with Jeremy Clarkson (who's quite good as it is). Barely anyone can make it beyond £1000 - either the questions have got harder or British people are just getting stupider...not that Clarkson's much use with this new 'Ask the host' lifeline!

The contestants are thick mate. That girl from NI on tonight used nearly all her lifelines before £1K.

Not a James Corden fan at all but it's great to see Paul McCartney driving the streets of Liverpool and revisiting a few old haunts. Greatest songwriter this country has ever produced.

Yeah - it must have been a truly unique and special experience. Would have loved to have gone to that concert. He's maybe the one act where you could say it was as equal an honour for Anfield to host him as it was for him to play at Anfield! If it was any other act then it would have solely been an honour to them! And in the stratospheric levels that Paul and The Beatles occupy in history and culture it may be easy for some to forget that they were and continue to be normal Liverpool lads. They've been appropriated by everything and everyone in the last 50 odd years but at the end of the day they belong to one place only and more importantly could only have come from that particular place.
