      Olympics/Womens Boxing.
      Aug 15, 2009 12:32:57 pm
It has been announced that Women's Boxing is going to feature in the 2012 Games.
I myself think it's an historic decision to make despite all the knocker's(no pun intended)any one, man or woman who steps into a ring should be applauded.
There are 642 registered female British boxers at the moment and I'm sure we can bag a crop of medals.
Some people may agree and some are against, what are your views? :boxing:

      ps,we need an Olympic icon.

I think it's only fair. Why shouldn't they be allowed to compete? As for Amir Khan, he's just affraid of more fighters near his glass jaw.

Amir has stated that whoever you are to step into a ring needs to be praised Man or Woman.

I think women can do anything men can do. But boxing?

I'm not sexist. I love women, all women. Women of this generation are tough as nails. I have no problem with a women as President, Governor, Boss, Athlete etc... They can play football, Hockey, basketball, track and field and still give birth.  But, boxing is the only sport which should be a male only sport. Sorry. I dont like to see women with broken noses, black eyes or beat up. It just doesn't look right.
