I got a standing ovation. Granted it was only 20 people and most of them were drunk and Scottish, but I'm taking it.  I know it's shallow, but when someone says 'When I closed my eyes, I thought it was Louis Armstrong', you can't help but blush.

Had a 2TB portable hard drive die on me earlier.  It had all my photos and videos from the last 15 years (about 30,000 photos on) - all the pictures of my two lads etc and my recently departed dog! (Total - 750Mb).  Had my iTunes library on (400Mb of mostly sh*te!).

I'd backed it all up 2 days ago thank the lord!

If you've got stuff you don't want to lose make sure you have backups people!  I would have been devastated.

It was a Seagate drive by the way if anyone's looking to decide which not to get!

Dad finished a course of chemotherapy 10 days ago (about) and since had a scan with the results thing today. Scary sh*t the last few days but the chemo has done it's job and shrunk it a bit so managed it so we get a 3 month break now.

To the people who have messaged me about all this over the last 3 years I haven't forgot. Big, big love.

      We go again.

      Today was a good day.

We're drunk and we're happy although some of us are still are out enjoying the good news  ;)
