Good news Pete, let’s hope it stays that way.

Moved house/moving house at the moment. Been in the old place 10 years! Bigger garden for the kids but shattered today moving furniture/taking apart and rebuilding 4 beds! Having a beer now and then back to it tomorrow. First night tonight sleeping in our new home.

Got a van for 2 days rather than paying a removal firm. Saved myself some money but boy am I feeling it!

Spent Saturday lunchtime at the icu of the local hospital after hearing that an old school friend was in because of a sepsis infection in his spine which had spread to the base of his brain. Hid wife was there and understably didn't want any other visitors for him as he was in an induced coma. Also on permanent dialysis,  found out that he had only become a dad again last week at 51, he had kept that quiet. Just found out he's off the respirator and has responded to his wife's voice and f. touch. It's only a very small step but hopefully he'll keep on fighting

All the best with the move Jon. Rather you than me though and I'm glad I don't have to make a move anytime soon but understand you guys with kids that day will always come inevitably at times.

Last move I done the 2 day van route and would recommend to anyone over removal firm.
