These past few months haven't been my best in any aspect really and the club has been my one and only source of joy.

Delighted for you Andy, hope your recovery continues on track, best of luck mate.

      Liverpool Football Club.

      Up the Reds!

I empathise with you Kate, a lot of ways very similar with myself. Something Jürgen said in that first press conference resonates with me still: “We have to make their life better. That’s what we have to do. Football is not so important. We don’t save lives or things like this. We are not medicine men or doctors, so it’s our job to help them forget their problems for 90 minutes. Then they can talk about the game or the next game and that’s how I want to live".

Anyway, wishing you all the best, hope things work out for you.

Some may know, most probably won't that our shop got armed robbed the other day - well the cash machine did, the actual shop was left alone. (which is quite a surprise given how often people just walk in and help themselves to the stock). And no that isn't the reason why I'm cheerful - not is the fact that we got to close the shop for all of four hours while the police did what they needed to.

The reason I'm cheerful and mentioning this is because a few of the folk on here messaged me to make sure I was alright, which I was. Takes a bit more than a couple of loonies with meat cleavers and hammers to scare a lad from Tocky. But through the power of the internet and a shared love of Liverpool Football Club, I've been able to get to know people who take time out of their own lives to make sure I'm alright. As they would with any one on this forum. (and believe me this isn't a cry for sympathy or a guilt trip to others to message me)

It really hits home how special this forum is and how special Liverpool fans are.

So from the bottom of me heart, thank you to those who make this forum and our club as special as it is.
