Schalke 04 Team more Valuable Than The Reds?

Manchester United have been named the most valuable team in the world, by Forbes business magazine.
United (£740m) retained top spot ahead of Real Madrid (£528m) and third-placed Arsenal (£466m) who nipped ahead of AC Milan, with Chelsea (£274m) in eighth.

Excuse my ignorance but how the hell are we behind Schalke 04? and no jokes about Kewell being on sickness benefit or Zenden only being worth £2.50

Humm I'm quite suspicious of all these numbers, for me there must be a few mistakes there. (not you Glenbuck, Forbes I mean) Do they take the debts in consideration? the salaries mass?the number of trophies? the numbers of fans (ticket sales) at each game home and away? sell of memorabilia ? and in what period 1 year? 10 years? etc, etc.. I would interested to see how they calculate that.

 For example in the list of hightest earning players it's certainly included any advertising deal and other contract outside the football. The fact to have Zidane there for example or even rooney when ferdinand is the most the player who get the biggest deal at united with £110 000/week (I know I know doesn't worth it)...

That would be the only one absolutly correct indeed Glenbuck, although the bag of gummy bears is an extra depending on performances..I'm afraid he didn't have any gummy bears for a while..

this all goes back to how much the previous board fu**ed up us commercially (how can the 3rd best supported team in the world be behind arsenal)
