What a disgrace to English football a bunch of lads and bell ends that have watched "Green Street Hooligans" too many times.

Well in Collison what a brave young man.

      An absolute disgrace.  :f_steam:

Surely with all the troubles between the 2 clubs in the past, when the draw was made, someone at the FA could have rigged it so these 2 sides didn't meet each other.

The officials at Uefa have been doing it for years in making sure Liverpool play Chelsea in the QF or SF stages of the Champions League.

The organizers got a lot to answer for.

Anyone have a clue how the firms contact each other with where to meet up or does it kinda just happen?

Its all done on mobiles and the internet. I used to play sunday league footy with a chelsea member, he told me that a lot of them have each others numbers on their phones, if they are travelling to games and the distance isnt far they may veer off and meet in fields and car parks for a rumble. Think travelling to Newcastle and knowing some Hartlepool crew or whatever they call them for example just a team thats near where they are going.

Weird world, he was in his 40's and that was 7 years ago - he loved it.

The BBC seem to be blaming the West Ham fans for the majority of the trouble and from the footage they are showing you can see the majority kicking off are the Hammers so called fans. Yesterday afternoon the threat of violence was being advertised on the internet as Millwall fans bragged about songs they would sing about Calum Davenport and Jack Collison and West Ham countered with what they would do to them in return.

The point is if I can easily find this on the net then certainly the authorities did so as well and that is why I thought on the whole they handled the situation very well, but for me more praise should go to the West Ham stewards who dealt with a very serious situation to the best of their abilities and did their club proud unlike the pond life in some parts of the ground who don't give a flying fig for the club

On Sunday a minority of West Ham fans sang to Jermaine Defoe “you should have died with your brother” and whilst they where shouted down by the majority normal fans it does show that far from evolving into proper supporters some grounds still look like “holding pens for the Jeremy Kyle show”(quote)

Did you see some of the fat balding middle aged men (no I wasn't there!) masquerading as fans as they kept running on the pitch in some vain attempt to re enact their youthful psychopathic rampages, some of those men are old enough to be Grandads! But that didn't stop them as they caused havoc inside and outside Upton Park.

You would hope family and friends would put them straight but sadly they are more likely to receive a pat on the back as some sort of misguided badge of courage.

Every one of them was caught on CCTV and every one of them should get a lifetime ban, as thy brought shame and disgrace to what I have always thought was a great club.

Police have released images of so-called fans they're obviously after for last night's trouble.

Looks like the cast of Eastenders!

They can expect their doors to be booted in, in the next couple of weeks.

I've no idea why they hate each other so much.

I've got work colleagues in Italy, Spain and Germany and they know all about the rioting last night.  it's all over the media in those countries, which the football associations of those countries will love, as it will one again mark all supporters of English clubs as hooligans.  it's a real step back for us.  This is despite the fact that i've been to couple of matches in Italy (Seria B)  and the atmosphere is really hostile at every game.  they have Ultra fans who have to be segregated, and even fans from the same club have to be segregated!!  my mate follows his team (Brescia) and sent me pictures of an away game at Pisa where there were pitched battles around the stadium and in the streets.  he says this happens at nearly every game, but you never here it reported.

as soon as some tw*ts start playin up here, the pictures are all over the world again! Anybody involved in last nights troubles, should be banned for life from any football stadium. >:( >:(

Only solution in my eyes for these scumbags is -

(As a repeat to the violence at Upton Park)

1- Carling Cup = 5 yr ban for all fans
2 - Fa cup = 5 yr ban for all fans
3 - League = 1 season ban for all fans.

I know it might seem harsh, especially on the innocent fans but I'd love to see who would start a riot knowing the circumstances if they did so.

Time for a crack down on this madness, and a blow like this to any club could be disastrous.

They hate each other because they are both in London and they reckong they are the two hardest firms and they want to battle each other to see who comes out on top

Knock them both out of Cup competition for this and next season, games to be played behind closed doors at home and/or no allocation of tickets to away games.

Thats probably being very lenient too.

Immature and stupid and one too many viewings of 'Green street Hooligans'. They probably see themselves as heroes. Well, hopefully after they get their punishments they won't have the same attitude.

West Ham have strong rivalries with several other clubs. Most of these are with other London clubs, especially with their neighbours Tottenham Hotspur and also with Chelsea, which sublimates the age-old East versus West London rivalry.
The "Champions" statue, of Moore, with the World Cup, Hurst, Peters and Ray Wilson, boarded-up for protection before the visit of Millwall on 25 August 2009

The strongest and oldest rivalry is with Millwall know as The East London derby. The two sides are local rivals, having both formed originally around the works sides Thames Ironworks and Millwall Ironworks shipbuilding companies. They were rivals for the same contracts and the players lived in the same locality. The early history of both clubs are intertwined, with West Ham proving to be the more successful in a number of meetings between the two teams, resulting in West Ham being promoted at the expense of Millwall. Millwall later declined to join the fledgling Football League while West Ham went on to the top division and an FA Cup final. Later in the 1920s the rivalry was intensified during strike action started by the East End (perceived to be West Ham fans) which Isle Of Dogs-based companies (i.e. Millwall fans) refused to support, breeding illwill between the two camps.

The rivalry between West Ham and Millwall has involved considerable violence and is one of the most notorious within the world of football hooliganism. However, they were drawn against each other in the second round of the 2009 Carling Cup and met on 25 August 2009 at Upton Park. This was the first time in four years that the two clubs had played each other, and the first ever in the Carling Cup. Clashes between hundred of fans occured outside the ground, resulting in violence erupting up to half a mile away from the stadium, with serious injuries, damage to property and several arrests reported by police. There were also several pitch invasions which brought a temporary halt to the game.[35]

F***ing shocking this crap. My dad always says its the reason he can't get into football, the crowd violence, and i try to convince him theres more to it obviously. But at the same time you see stuff like this and think why the F**k does this happen in football? It's immature, and everyone of the cu*ts should be castrated, then let them see whos got bigger balls ::)
