England's World Cup chances

Now that the world cup is just around the corner, how far do you think Engand will get? i think that we will get to the semis.  

i am scouse so obviously hold grudges against rooney (traitor)
but he is a class player with no doubts, im now just worried about he broken metor tartle (i think the whole nation now knows its the big toe)
i am really wishin that he pulls through, i think we have a chance of winning it, but with rooney we had a great chance of winning it.

I dont mean to be horrible sayin this, but why didnt rooney get injurd earler in the season? that way he would of been ready for the world cup, and the scum wouldnt be in second place now.
 who would you pick instead of rooney and micky owen?

i think ill av 2 go wiv u on that, im not a big fan of crouch but he shud b given a go.
i think he gets lots of chances to score but it just doesnt happen 4 him (he aint no rooney, rooneys so much uglier ) hopefully he will boost up a bit for the world cup and for us next season.

i dont really no carrick that well, but wen he played in the friendly he seemed to av a lot of confidence.
i think thats wat are players need the confidence 2 believe they can win.

I really like England but I live in Germany so I have to say that Germany will win....

sven has totally mucked the team sheet up, walcott bad idea, rooney not back until july if we are still in the tournie then give either terry or gerrard the captaincy central players, let JC (jamie carragher) play instead of donkey rio and someone please slap sven it will be funny

Agreed but still think we've got a great chance this time round and with stevie in the form he is in who needs rooney he'll win it on his own.

I read in the Sport that Rooney isn't actually injured and it's all a smokescreen.  What do you reckon?  I don't know.  They say he's fit, it's wierd...

Does seem a bit sus as he seems to be up and about alot faster than when becks did his foot,but what do you expect from a manc   even if he is good for england still a horrible podgy git.

the only reason that rooney is in the team and they say there is a "possibilty" he will be fit is so ticket sales aren't affected!

Oh so it's nothing to do with him being a bloody good player and we haven't that many in his postion.

Do you really think that crouch could win the cup for us?even if rooney is a manc he can still be a very good player and the class he's got could make a difference. Sorry mate but i don't rate crouch and never will .

I don't rate Crouch either, not good enough for Liverpool or England in my opinion  

So there are peolpe out there that agree with me,didn't want him when he signed and still don't want him now. Rafa should of paid that little bit more and got kuyt same sort of player, good in the air holds the ball up well but scores goals alot more than crouch ever will.

Im sorry folks but i for one will not be cheering england during the world cup, how can i cheer on a team with Rooney the fat boy (man u), Neville the total knob head (man u) and Ferdinand the over rated (man u).
I know Stevies in there and Crouchie and Carra on the bench but im NO England fan (although i am English) when any man u player plays for them, my hatred for that so called football club runs so deep.
My country is Liverpool F.C. take out the man u players and ill go back to having 2 countrys.

I agree with redlance, the whole of England should be behind the boys, what your saying is if there were no man u players in the squad you would be supporting them, support them and still hate the mancs,I will.
