Started playing this for the PC again the other day, and it's amaaaaaazing!

Installed a few Lambo mods, and made cars faster - the game really has no limits! You can do ANYTHING! ;D

Only had it on the PS2, so I don't know about all these add-ons and what-nots, but has to be one of the greatest games ever.

I love all these threads about classic games! :D

Was a phenomenal game when it came out. Still is really!

It's weird how it probably remains more fun than GTA IV on PS3.

I'll second that.  It just had more meaning, you could do more with the money you gained and such.  I think the last installment of GTA was quite dissapointing.

      I agree.

Looked forward to it so much too after how great San Andreas was. I just think the general all round play was better - there was a lot more things to do and it never got boring! I used to love flying to the top of that mountain and then driving off the top in a camper van or cycling off with a bike! :D

The best game of the decade, with very little, if any doubt. It's so big, 3 massive cities, an insanely huge countryside area, and more. I also hate it when people refer to the three cities (Los Santos, San Fierro and Las Venturas) as 'islands'. They're not islands. This is different from the other games where there is a bridge or two connecting each island and they were treated as completely different areas. On GTA SA it's completely different, iit's a whole connected world.

Best game ever made, simple. I spent months on it. Then my brother F***ing saved over my almost complete game, so i got to do it all again :D

Anyone else used to do what i thought was great fun? I used to grab a plane, fly over the army base, parachute out before they shot me down, drop in, fight off a few guards, steal a tank then wreak all hell on the lovely people of San Andreas.. great fun!!

Haha yeah I loved doing that!

Another thing that was superb was flying over the restricted zone - getting 6 stars and then seeing how long you could last for!

Another thing I did, 'cause the cops could do jack sh*t about it, was go into a bar, kill everyone then set it on fire.

      I'm a nice person aren't I?

      Officer Tenpenny?

It's the best GTA. The flying task always took me ages though.

THATS the one, Tenpenny! :D Flying task took me a few tries, and a few moments i wanted to break my PS2 controller, but got there eventually.

Killing Ryder was one of the best missions, he just had an annoying voice so it was good to see the back of him

The weirdest thing was that I completed the last level in one go. I thought it would have taken me ages!

Just thinking about it now. Such an immense game!

The missions on the hillbilly island were sh*t, probably the only let down on the game.

Best missions were the Woozie ones though I reckon.

Took me a couple for the last level i think, was a few years ago now. But yeah it was alot easier than expected! I enjoyed the simple things at the beginning the most, such as the gang wars and taking over other territories. And robbing houses, hours of fun :D
