The Who thread

Quite possibly the greatest band ever, certainly some of the greatest musicians ever. Keith Moon (RIP) is the greatest drummer to ever live, John Entwistle (RIP) one of the greatest guitarists ever, Pete Townshend one of the greatest songwriters ever and Roger Daltrey has a great voice.

Just the complete band and for my money are the greatest band ever. Not my favourite but the greatest if that makes sense.

Their films weren't bad either.

To be frank; the whole Pete Townsend kiddy-fiddling, sex offender thing left it, for me, that i couldn't listen to them any more. 

Always thought they are a bit naff to be honest.

Can't stand 'Whoooooo are you'.

If I had to choose a greatest band, I would probably choose Led Zeppelin, but maybe that's just a personal preference.

Good, but for me The Beatles will always be better.

And Roger Daltry gets on my tits sometimes.

Love The Who. I don't bother comparing them to anyone, maybe there are better bands, but the fact is they are up there with the very best. As a bass player myself, my favourite member of the band has to be John Entwistle, he was incredible.
