Thought I'd start a thread for non-league teams with great support.

Just wondering what do you think of my hometown teams support for a non league side?

      They are indeed.

They are also one half of the world's oldest footballing derby (against Hallam).

Lancaster City. Most vocal fans in the whole of the unibond :D Give us a couple of seasons and we'll be back in the Conference and the we can have the boxing day fixtures back! I miss those.

It would actually be quality to have a boxing day/new year set of fixtures against someone so close to us. We've got Gateshead this year, we had Wrexham last year, and that's about as close as they come for Barrow. I think Altrincham or Chester is geographically the closest though in our league.

Lancaster City. We beat you 2-1 in pre-season. Was fun. We should do it again some time.

Our boxing day/new years fixture is Clitheroe. Not too bad as they have a fair few fans (well...for this league they do). I just miss the 1500+ strong crowds we used to get at Giant Axe for those games...even if more than half were Barrow fans :D

Im sure City and Barrow will play again this season in some poxy cup.

Hows 2 wins in 12 games doing for you? At this rate we'll be in the same league in 2 seasons time!

Lancaster City 7 - 1 Woodley Sports. This league is beginning to get boring now...what round do Barrow enter the FA Trophy? :P We've got the 1st Qualifying Round on Saturday after easing through the preliminaries.
