This is the strongest the Barrow squad has been in many many years so I'm not too worried about today's result. We're more than capable of winning the next two against Gateshead and R & D.

Big fight in the tunnel after the match involving you guessed it, Terrys brother...100 fans also abusing the ref after the game behind the fencing.

      Truly epic match last night.

A red card (wrong decision), a couple of penalties (their's saved, our's scored (our's wasn't a penalty)), a disallowed goal at either end (both wrong decisions), and a post match tunnel brawl. Gotta love it. ;D

Oh, and the worst referee I've ever seen, and both sets of supporters and managers agree. He pulled us back 3 times to retake a freekick from which we scored a goal which was chalked off, and as our lads were busy celebrating the goal they'd thought they scored, the ref quite happily allowed Darlo to pull a fast one to set up a 10-on-4 attack, but thankfully it came to nothing.

Lancaster have started the season awfully. Reduced playing budget means we only have 1 half-decent striker who's 19 years old and he has no composure in front of goal at all. Our sub striker is 17. Good times at City.

Unless we sign a proper striker, which is unlikely, its gonna be a long and sh*te season. Last 2 games we've conceeded 6 goals and scored 0.

      Good result eh mate ?
Fleetwood have made a superb start to the season, and are now top of the league.
The ground is being redeveloped, the pitch was voted 4th best in the country last season and they seem to be getting stronger each match.

Not bad for a team who had to start out all over again and have only failed promotion for 2 of the seasons.

Hope to meet up with you mate if you travel to Fleetwood, we'll share a couple of ale's.

Embarassing loss to FC Scum today, the player showed no passion and we got beat by the better team on the day. Some supporters even want the two managers out but I think that would be barmy considering what they have done with our club.
