The fact that they have gone for the all white logo on the black tops makes me think that they will allow us to have all white on the kit.

Just for the fact that the official press release is a big chance for them to get the name to those that are unaware of the company and they have allowed the name to be in white.

Standard Chartered are a great company (positive image associated with LFC) and its a lot of money.  They'll make the logo work.

I was rather gutted when we lost out on the title last season to : Because we lacked finances to put towards football as our sponsorship deals amongst other things were just not good enough, we lost to a team that is ruthless when it comes to marketing their brand, however sh*te it may be. This is a major step in the right direction, becoming the equal top team in footballing sponsorship in the world. Who gives a F***ing sh*t if our tops don't look as good without Carlsberg, as sponsors they were not prepared to help us become what we know we can be, and thus were sh*te sponsors. I welcome anyone who is prepared to thrust Liverpool into the fore-front of football, and that is what S.C. have already done with this massive deal. F**k Carlsberg, welcome Standard Chartered.

For me Standard Chartered is a great brand to be associated with as I dont think the sirts would look that bad if the logos and names are placed properly on the shirt.Moresoever its  aglobal brand,something which Carlsberg wasn't so it would be easier for the worldwide fans to identify with the brand.

By publicly stating that Rafa will have a healthy transfer kitty, the Yanks will not be able to steal too much of it because then they will be seen by everyone in the world to be the thieving bas**rds they are, and I think they are too clever for that.

In all honesty I'm not bothered if they do put it into the transfer kitty, as long as they get the club back into the black and sell up and F**k off.
