Looks boss that! Westerns is a genre that really needs a few good films again.

Also slowly working on my own western story as well.. few years away probably though :D

New Coen brothers movie, True Grit:

      True Grit Trailer 2010 HD

Looks good, couldn't help think you'd love it Diego. Should be one of the better modern westerns.

Remake of an old John Wayne classic.

That's debatable. This movie is another and different adaptation of the original novel, and is supposedly much more truthful to the novel and quite a bit different than the 1969 film. Either way, when the Coen brothers direct it I'm not bothered by it because I know it won't be cheap and they'll put their own brilliant stamp on it.

New trailer for Zach Snyder's Sucker Punch.

Sucker Punch - Official Trailer 2 [HD]

Samurai, zeppelins, dragons, robots, biplanes, swords, Nazi zombies, trench warfare and hot girls in mini skirts with sub machine guns all going on inside the mind of a girl trying to escape a mental asylum, throw in a bit of Led Zeppelin = Best trailer ever!

Can't help but think the film might be a mess but I'll certainly enjoy the visuals. ;)

You obviously haven't seen Gran Torino then! All he does is grunt and growl throughout, and as a hardman (at the age of 75+)....it's even less believeable than Harry Brown!!!

      Bollocks, class film.

The fact Clint was also director and a lot of the Koreans in the movie weren't proper actors, a very good film that is far superior to Harry Brown!

Saw it at the cinemas. He made an 80-year old hard man look very believable.

I think you are the same one who thought Johnny Depp was a sh*t actor right? No offense, but i won't be taking anything you say about movies seriously from now on ;D

Gran Torino is an astoundingly good movie! Heartbreaking end, though. Thought Clint Eastwood was amazing in it.

Can't you tell the tiredness is kicking in from staying up watching the ashes.

The idea looks like a bit of a rip-off of the movie Outlander, though!!

Danny Boyle: Trainspotting sequel 'will happen'

Danny Boyle has given his strongest indication yet that a sequel to his cult film about Edinburgh drug addicts, Trainspotting, may yet find its way to the big screen.

Speaking to cinematical.com, Boyle said a follow-up to his 1996 movie, which starred Ewan McGregor, Robert Carlyle and Jonny Lee Miller, "will happen", though he declined to set out a timeline. The sequel would be based loosely on Trainspotting author Irvine Welsh's novel Porno, though Boyle said he did not consider the book to be as good as its predecessor.

"It will happen, I think," said Boyle. "I mean, we'll approach them all again about it, but it will depend on what place they're all at.

"We have a very strong idea that it would be a wonderful thing to do again when they have aged clearly into a mid-life crisis. They're not quite there yet, I don't think."

Boyle added: "The book Porno is not a great book in the way that the original novel is genuinely a masterpiece. But we have been doing some work on it, and it's got potential. And when the moment's right, I think we will approach it."

The Oscar-winning film-maker said the original cast did not look old enough to play ageing versions of Rent Boy, Sick Boy and Begbie, despite Welsh's novel being set only a decade after Trainspotting. Porno sees the characters, along with the hapless Spud, becoming embroiled in a scheme to raise cash by making a pornographic movie.

One of the major obstacles to a full cast reunion is McGregor, who fell out with Boyle after the director replaced him with Leonardo DiCaprio in 2000's The Beach. "Danny and I don't speak, we haven't spoken for years," McGregor said last year. "There was a falling out of sorts over The Beach and that was quite a messy and hurtful time."

      Interesting!

Also didn't realize there was a falling out between him an Ewan. To be honest, Dicaprio fit the Beach better for me. But who knows, McGregor may have done a wonderful job as well.

I disagree with what Danny says about the book, I think Welsh used more humour in it as well as characters from other stories he's done from that area of Edinburgh.

It would be a shame if they didn't use the same characters, Carlyle is brilliant as Begbie.
