Big roller coaster rides.....have you dared

Anyone been to Six Flags Magic Mountain in California? Some nice ones there, Goliath is F***ing crazy, starts from 26 stories high and drops vertically, getting up to some phenomenal speed straight away. The slow clicking as we got closer and closer to the top before it started was almost making me brick my pants when i looked around and the people looked like ants below me

There's only one rollercoaster that I would never go on. And that's the Big One in Blackpool. I've had the same dream three times about that. Basically it came off the tracks as it got to the top and crashed into the road alongside it. And I was on it each time.



I'd go anything else though.

I don't like heights either, but I love the buzz afterwards. To be honest though, I much prefer the old school fair ground stuff like the Waltzers.

You'd like the one on Brighton pier then, it's a mini (very mini tbf  ) roller coaster that turns into a waltzer type ride half way through.  Quite a surprise as it happens when you're hanging over the sea!

Awww makes me think of the Cyclone in Southport years ago that - although this one's like the Cyclone's big brother. Anyone from around here remember the Cyclone?

Yeh, the Big One feels unbelievably unsafe when your on it. You just have like one bar over your legs, and another one in front to hold on to. It has a notice on the ride to say makes sure you hold on tight to the bar. God knows how they get away with it, surely it's really dangerous.
Good ride overall though
