Someone I used to feel quite strongly for. I don't feel that way now... I don't think. It's stange though, I feel like I want to talk again but should I really make any effort when she basically deleted me off FB, Myspace, Bebo, and doesn't reply to my texts when I send now and again?

      I guess I shouldn't.

      95% of the time I don't give a sh*t. But that 5% is horrible.

She doesn't sound very nice to me, i mean, she can't even bother to reply to your texts. It doesn't take much effort to do that.
Why has she deleted you off basically everything? Did you do something to upset her?
Don't waste your time on someone like her Ross, even if it is only 5% of the time, is someone like that really worth 5% of your time? No.
At best, she probably doesn't know what she wants, and trust me if/when she decides it's you, it'll be her that does all the running.
Don't make an effort with someone who doesn't make an effort with you.

Thank you so much LP - it's really put things into perspective.

I think the only thing I did to annoy her was not make my move. I won't go into details but basically I wasn't sure it was right for a few reasons. I think I did the right thing to be honest, and I stick by that. I was never able to make my mind up though, and I think that's what annoyed her.

However I don't think that's a reason to try and eradicate me from her life? I know for a fact she really liked me so maybe she feels that's the only way to get over me or something? Apparently she has a boyfriend now but I just find that strange considering how stuck on me she was.

I think maybe that 5% is just some regret, and I may find that will pass over a bit more time. But I do think about her still, and I do wish we were still talking. She used to make me feel amazing, like every day, and now that's gone...

^ Yeah, I suppose it's meant to go 'Don't make an effort with someone who Wouldn't make an effort with you' If you know they wouldn't bother with you, then why waste your time.

You've made an effort to contact this girl and smooth things over but she just decided to act in a very childish mannor by not replying to your texts and deleting you off social networking sites. Don't waste your time chasing after her. It's not going to make the situation any better. It's her loss Ross, just tell yourself that and try to move on. Everything happens for a reason, and what's meant to be will be.

I think maybe that 5% is just some regret, and I may find that will pass over a bit more time. But I do think about her still, and I do wish we were still talking. She used to make me feel amazing, like every day, and now that's gone...

It's only natural to have regrets and 'what if' thoughts with a tough decision, but as you said, you made your decision and your sticking by it.
She may have made you feel amazing but there are plenty of girls out there that will make you feel even better, and also appreciate your efforts. There's no reason that you shouldn't be on speaking terms at least, well except for her constant ignorance. She'll regret it one day. But by then you'll have completely moved on, ...wonder how she'll feel then? ;)

You're completely right. I think it's definately the hardest part - trying to forget about it all. It is very hard at times to resist the temptation to get back in touch. But I'm gonna do it!

Already said thank you to you but I'll thank you again.

Auntie LP ( :f_tongueincheek:) ..... I have a question about guys .......do they all really care only about looks or are there a few sensible ones who actually like us for more than our body and who we really are ?

Being Male I can probably best answer this one, hell yes looks are important, but they also need to be able to cook, clean and iron as well ;)

So, I used to like a girl for a long time. I finally mustered the courage and told her I liked her at a friend's event (house garden too :O) in 2007 and told her to think about it and get back to me after our exams but it's already 2009 and still no answer.

That of course, made up my mind to not talk to her again cause according to my mates, she stood me up and that's a very mean thing to do( giving No as answer would have been a good desture at leasT). I used to text her but I'll either get a reply a year later( not literally but I'd get replies the next day) or no reply. So , all in all, I probably wasted my time.

So, LP, what do you think? (I hope you don't tell me to fix it because I can't be bothered to)

Well yes looks are important but is that the ONLY thing you care about in relationship ?

I believe looks are the starting point for a boy and girl to be interested to get to know each other. When they are comfortable with each other, everything else is a bonus.
