Wasn't a very exciting match from what I could see on the stream. Disappointing really and I'm glad I never bought it on Sky.

      But, Well in Haye! :D

Was pretty surprised when someone randomly came in the room last night and blurted it out!

      We're talking about boxing Ross.

Well done Hague (as the arl fella next to us in the pub kept calling him).

Think Haye did well enough to win it.

Valuev looked like he was busy but none of his punches were actually counted. They were either missing or blocked so when haye was getting in with body shots they were counting.

Had he not broke his hand in the second round, I think that wobble the big man had in the last would have come a few rounds earlier and Haye would have built on it. Would have been good to see the giant get floored and I'm a massive fan of Haye.

Well done Hague (as the arl fella next to us in the pub kept calling him).

      :D

Me Ma kept calling him Hayes.

I thought Haye won it by maybe 3 or 4 rounds, Valuev simply couldn't get anywhere near him. Haye's easily the most agile fighter in the heavyweight division, and it looked like he had enough power to knock him out in the last round. Tacitcally outclassed him I think, Well done Dave!

;D He'd seen some fights over the years hadn't he. I think he probably missed about 10 rounds of that fight through talking to us.

I enjoyed that fight last night. Haye boxed clever I reckon.

He looked a bit like Greg Norman didn't he?

Now that I know Haye broke his hand I think he would have probably knocked him out apart from that happening.

      I'm gutted. :D

I had a bit of an 'I told you he wouldn't knock him out' thing going with the Bluenose in work but now he definitely broke his hand, there's not much point. :D

I think we would have definitely dropped him.

Didn't actually see the fight nevertheless when you think about the advantages the big lad had and he took him the distance to win a points victory!!! it's nothing short of amazing, he deserves all the credits coming his way.

Yep agree 100%, I think there were about 4 or 5 rounds where Valuev didnt land one punch let along a telling punch so Haye for me was the clear winner.

I also think that if the hand hadnt been damaged he would have won easier. He was too quick and agile for Valuev.

Lets hope he puts Ruiz away and then sets up the Klitchko brothers.
