Barca winning 1-0 thanks to a shocking own goal and Real Madrid as loosing to Malaga.

EDIT: 2-0 Barca now thanks to Pedro's goal. Looks like Barca have the league pretty much wrapped up.

      VDV put Madrid level

Messi made it 3-0. Also quality that Bojan is still keeping that over rated tw*t Ibrahimovic out of the team.

Messi makes it 4 with his 2nd. Full time, Barca retain their crown.

      Nice!

Galacticos end the season without a trophy.

Messi equals (original) Ronaldo's 47 goals in a season tonight. Think Rush held the record for 47 in a season as well, or am I wrong?

Counter that with a bunch of penalties though i guess. Though how many penalties did Messi get this season? Is he the regular taker?

Either way, Messi > Ronaldo. Simples :D

Depends, if Messi has already scored in the game then he usually lets someone else take the penalty.

Which you really would never see Ronnie doing huh. Class Messi, pure class. Cannot believe the lad is only what, 22 still? Or just 23? Either way, feels like he's been around for years already.

It's frightening just how good he is at around 22. He is near on 100 goals in just 2 seasons. He is getting more goals every season at the moment so he has the potential to absolutely shatter every current goal record tally. Without doubt going to be Barca's and La Liga record goal scorer.

Truly frightening. I actually think about getting a Barca Messi shirt, just as a collectors item. Just that good he is!

Beat you to that  Already have one on my Watch List on ebay :lmao:

Well, congratulations to Barcelona. They've basically just shown that you don't need to spend tons of money to win trophies.

Lionel Messi ... he is just such a wonderful player. 47 goals this season and as stated, equalling Ronaldo Luis' record back in 1999! Ronaldo didn't have the Club World Cup for him back then.

Atletico are about 50 points behind Barca yet are the only team to have beaten Barca. Such a weird season they have had.

A nice sentiment but wildly inaccurate.

Barca have spent a hell of a lot of money in the past three seasons. They've developed a lot their own stars as well, but they have spent a lot of money, too.

Congratulations to Barca, though. Deserved, and much rather them than those scummy little so and so's from Madrid.

Inter were able to get to the Champions League Final on the money plus Eto'o deal for Ibrahimavic. Well that and the worlds most arrogant manager
