Was that clown Gillette there, wasn't there reports he was to be there.

The Crown Prince of Saudi Arabia is sitting next to George Gillette at the game today....hmmm.

Make of that what you will.

We'll be last on MOTD no doubt.

If we had drew we would have been on first.

      3 points behind the leaders.

Shame SKY have already told us after our first 3 games our season was over.

      The wankers.

Last season we beat Villa but drew against Stoke and Hull.

We may have lost at Anfield to Villa but we have got more points out of those games than last time round.

Nando's second goal was world class but i thought Riera was extremely poor for 50+ minutes and our defending at times was poor also our corners were disgraceful(straight at the hull defenders and no one attacking them) but still exciting cut throat football and the true test next week at chelski and surely Rafa has to be alittle more defensive and have a game plan next week but i feel positive.

      Was at the game.

So F***ing happy. Just brilliant. We wiped the floor with them.

Torres was unbelievable - I can't wait to see those goals properly on MOTD later tonight.

Waiting for MOTD but brilliant, i was hoping for 4 and we got 6. Good to see Babel on the score sheet as well - Top scorers in the Premership, it's on like donkey kong.

Loved the what Roberto Martinez did with his tie as well, lovely jubbly...

Couldn't see the match, because I was in Liverpool at the University open day.

Maybe I should visit more often?

Unfortunately I missed the last 20 min or so. I left at 4-1 w/ Babel coming on.

But from what I saw they played great.  I think they still need to work on those set pieces and the defense did play better. Chelsea losing to Wigan was also a big plus.

Good day, good match. Torres!  What can you say about the guy, he is a machine.

This is the way we were playing on that unbeatable run at the rear end of last season. We are absolutely unstoppable, and long may it continue. Glad I haven't seen the goals yet as I can watch them on MOTD.

If that wrinkly old turd (Gillett) wants to make money how about he releases a dartboard with a picture of his face on, he'd make millions.

      6-1
      Torres topping the goalscoring charts.
      6 wins on the spin
Not conceding from a set piece

Can't really complain at all. Well F***ing done lads, great way to erase those nightmares of this game last time out. What a goal from Stevie, Torres on fire and even a couple from Babel.

Torres brilliant .deadly in front of goal would like to see bag a few more for  my fantasy team
Still looked scrappy at times and need to sort it out at the back

But 3rd in the league without playing anything like we can is just quality
I bet the mancs and the chavs are just slightly worried

      Job done.

Torres was just a class above anything in gold today, and being in the Anny Road it was lovely to see the movement out of him up close when he slotted his first two.

Thought Lucas had a very good game, some good passes too. Mascherano also looked hungry when he came on in the second half.

All in all though Hull were sh*te, fully expect them to get relegated if they carry on defending they way they did today.

And having seen this pic, just wondered if Gilllet is considering bumping off Hicks

And got some dodgy looking hitman to do the job!

Was going to say the same thing. It baffles me how that guy didn't get a single yellow card. Torres was easily man of the match. On a side note I wanna say reira was easily the second best players. He was dribbling past hull as easily as torres was and he played some really well executed high and low balls. He got a lot of criticism from people on this forum for his performance against leeds, which I didn't think was cataclysmically bad, but tonight he showed his real talents and kudos to the guy. If torres only scored one goal my motm would've gone to reira easily.

Gerrard was completely lost today. Hardly got on the ball and didn't do anything apart from score from that shot/cross?
