Jermaine Pennant??

jermain pennant is due to have a fitness test ate anfield and is going to sign a 3 year contract for 3m. i think he will be a good buy he has pace and can cross all we need is to world class strikers maybe another jermaine wat du you think

He could be a good signing but will he walk in to our first team or start  moanin that he isnt getin enugh games?

If Pennant comes to us he will be so humble he might even become a Bible basher

God No!!! Not jermaine pennant. This is the off season where we need to push on. We will not do that buying players who looked mediocre at best in a relegated side. My choice would be Joaquin but i understand that is an unlikely option (to expensive). SWP or Guily if we couldn't get him.

He'll be a good signing I reckon, good pace, that's always a bonus.  nearly saw Gerrard smile at the homecoming by the way.  It was a great day though.

Rafa was intrested in him last year and as a few have said cheaper than swp so yes think he would be a good signing but only as a squad player.

agree with you jabba, not good enough, we have players who can play there already we need a world class player not just someone who is the same as what we've got, plus he would just be another average player infront of anderson which i wouldnt like!!

i must disagree with jabba and priesty's comments, for one he is not like any other right sided player at the club. THE CLUB IS CRYING OUT FOR AN OUT AND OUT RIGHT SIDED WINGER. the point is we may have one world class right side player (GERRARD) who for me would never alound to play out wide again such is his ability to hold of a control of any game from a central posistion.

the other candidates FINNAN, GARCIA and KROMKAMP the later two who are great player in there own way are not players who will give you natural width. KROMKAMP who played well once on the pitch on saturday proved that once you have an outlet out wide you can casue probelms to teams. with a player like pennant he would easily take full advantage of any free space to run into.

people must start thinking though every fan wants world beaters at the club it is a team that wins tropheys and the addition of pennant would give use an extra dimmension with pace and width we have needed for some time
