Pre Match: AFC Fiorentina v Liverpool FC

Liverpool visit Italy for matchday 2 of the Champions League. Fiorentina will be looking to pick-up their first points of the group stage, after their 1-0 loss to Lyon. They will be without Gilardino, but we could face a tough test by Adrian Mutu. Fiorentina will be playing us on the back of a 1 - 0 win at Livorno.

3-1, would love to say 3-0 but i am not filled with the utmost confidence in our defense just yet. Will be another win for sure though, i can't see our form dropping from what we saw against Hull.

I'll take a draw here. It's going to be very tough and Fiorentina have some decent players.

4-2 loss. Carra and Skrtel to be sent off after punching each other and Lucas to tell Gerrard to F**k off back to where he came from.

No idea how I'm going to watch this at the minute. I finish Uni at 19:30 on Tuesday.

Wondering whether to rush to a pub, or to avoid the score and tape the match so I can watch when I get home. I would say pub, but I'm not sure yet when the last train is and I'll be absolutely starving.

Anyway, I doubt this will be a walkover, Fiorentina are a really decent side. I'm confident though.

I'll be satisfied with 1-0 and that's what I think the score will be.

Going to be a tough test for us but think we will be up to the challenge and come away with a 2-1 victory.

You know, I'm not overly confident. Don't ask me why.

My eyes are on next weekends game at Stamford Bridge.  I'd be happy to utilise some of the squad in this game to be honest.

As said earlier, still not full of confidence in our defense yet. Especially at set pieces. I think we are likely to concede and I am going for 3 - 2 to us. Very nervy twitchy scrappy game with Torres 2 and Kuytt 1 pulling us through. Think I'll put a tenner on that, should get decent odds.

I'm going for 2-1 to Liverpool. No matter how badly Liverpool plays, I never predict them to lose!

I don't know how any of their players play in real life. The only thing i know is that mutu vargas and Frey(the goalie) have really high ratings and stats in Fifa 09 so I'm assuming their really good

Just hope the players heads are in the right place after all the takeover talk from the last couple of days. Results on the pitch are whats matters! I expect Masch to start on the night alongside Lucas. Im going to go with 1-1 it'll be a tight nervy affair. 

Not really fussed at this stage as long as we do not lose. I think alot of the focus in this weeks preperation will be concentrated around Chelsea.

Just seen on SSN Masch and Yossi out for Fiorentina match, I reckon Rafas just keeping them safe for the Chavs at the weekend. Didnt say whats wrong with them , hope im right and its minor niggles.

In that case, I assume that Babel will play on the right, and Kuyt in the middle with Torres? Like a 4-4-2, with Gerrard and Lucas in the center
