From the commentary i got the feeling we didn't turn up tonight! taking nothing away from Fiorentina, we struggled to find form ,lets hope when we play the home tie we get a result and a crowd in good voice ....could do better lads ....time to earn your wages !

I think they played out of their skins as if it was their Cup Final.

We were dreadful in the First Half, Better in the second. Ref Poor, but we were worse.

Wouldn't say it's the worst we played in the first half but definitely a bad day at the office. Not really sure Aurelio was the right choice. Rafa's midfield selection was bizarre to say the least compounded by the team's dire performance. Slight improvement second half but game was lost in the first 45. And please Rafa get the corner taking sorted it is a complete joke.

Heads up and looking forward to the Chelsea game.

Utter sh*te, not a single player deserves praise of any sort except perhaps Pepe.

Suppose though, on the plus side, there is still along way to go in the group stage and is plenty of time to put it right, starting against Lyon!
We have played this bad before in the group, a few couple of years ago and then we went onto to get the biggest ever win in the competition.

Hope Rafa takes some of the blame tonight, picking Aurralio in midfield was a mistake ,we have looked better recently with Gerrard back in midfield, they made us look a shambles in the first half when all the damage was done ,the passing started bad and got worse as the half went on ,might of been different if lucas header had of went in .pissed off big time sort it Rafa.

We lost one game and it's all 'Mascherano and Alonso missing'.  F**k off Strachan you gnome.

First half - it was all Fiorentina and they deserved to lead though their first goal looked offside.

Second half - it was all Liverpool but we couldn't score.

Damn it, one step backward and I wanted us to seal qualification sharpish.

It was sh*t, no doubt, but like I said it's not the end of the world.

We'll get our own back at Anfield and we'll be perfectly fine.

I actually am thinking 9-0 at Anfield.

They all must be thinking of the game at the week-end!!!!. What a performance-had a 20min spell in the second half and that was it.Midfield looked lost...
