Yep, a week today, and we'll all be stuffed with Christmas Dinner, Pudding and an empty tin of Roses Chocs :lmao:

It's alright, I don't really follow any religious beliefs, just a good excuse to get bladdered!!

Is right. Just a two week bender/piss up/horror show for me really.

So I've bought my Hubby a bike for Christmas, I need to borrow his car (a Volvo Estate) to put it in, as it won't fit in mine.

I've arranged with Halfords to pick it up tomorrow afternoon, so I say to him, "Can I use your car tomorrow afternoon"? He knows I'm not keen on driving it, as it's like driving a bus  ::) so he says, "erm...yes, why"? so I say, "I've got to pick some big stuff up for my Dad, and he can't get it in his car (punto) and I can't get it in mine, so I need the Volvo, is that alright"?

He looked at me very suspiciously, and I know he doesn't believe me, so he's asking me all these questions, like what big stuff have you got to get for your Dad? and I'll pick it up for him  ::) and stuff like that, I don't want him to know what I've got him as he's had a bit of a rough time lately with being off work with stress and he wants to cycle from Lands End to John 'O' Groats next year.

If I manage to keep it a surprise till Christmas Day, it will be a miracle.

Tell him doesn't matter. Then get the bus and cycle it home yourself?  ;D

I hate wrapping, well attempting to wrap Christmas presents. It takes me about half an hour per present - either mess up cutting the paper, the taping or put the wrong name tags on. Always ends up looking as though a toddler done it!

Got great A-Level grades but yet I cannot master wrapping!

I think it's time to resort to getting my mam to do it for me

I love wrapping my pressies up, I try to make them look really nice and go to a lot of trouble to make them look special. It's part of Christmas, I like to see them all sparkly under the tree.

I'm starting to think the whole wrapping presents thing is a woman thing. Us men (note this does not include Ross) will continue to do our thing - sit around, drink some beer and be manly and stuff

Ha. I did that one year when I forgot to buy wrapping paper.  It was boss. It was like pass the parcel.

I think everyone should give the two fingers to all these rip-off wrapping paper manufacturers and follow your lead.
