Playstation Network

Hi Guys and Gals, I've just turned on my PS3 and it won' allow me to sign in, its says "Playstation Network under maintenance"

Are any other of you LFC reds gamers experiencing this same problem ?

Gutted to say the least I was just in the mood, to go online and play a little Ground War on COD 5

I just bought mine and have had some issues, but now it seems fine. Think it must just happen occasionally mate.

Had the same thing happen to me last night, but it should work now.

Little question :
Just on the internet, went onto uk.playstation.com/ps3
and signed in as my PS3 details like
And it came up with 'my account' - 'transfer info to new account'
Anybody do this? As i wondered who was online before i trekked upstairs and went on
So if i did this - transfer info etc would it create a new account?

I did that myself a while back and nothings changed.

I think it could have something to do with having an online username on the PS2 but I could very well be mistaken. It gives you your dynamic profile sig though which is good.

New Firmware Update 3.10 available for the Playstation 3. Includes:

- New 'Photo' viewing style.
- Ability to change the colour of your PSN Profile Card. No more ugly grey boxes around the usernames.
- Facebook integration. Not as good as I'd expected. It's really just options concerning trophy information being displayed on your Facebook profile. You still have to access Facebook through the browser. 
- Polish language.

Gutted was on level 15 of Asenscion the new zombie map and I was flying, then it just went off.

I'd say roughly another 7 hours mate from what they are saying on psn site, but I maybe wrong.

Looks like i wont be playing online tonight so, cheers lads.

Just checked there won't let me sign in.

Sony will take the European PlayStation Network down today from 4.05pm UK time through to 3am tomorrow morning.

You won't be able to access the PlayStation Store on either PS3 or PSP, nor any of the account management or registration areas.

If you want to be able to play online during that time then make sure you sign in before 4.05pm.

There's no word on what the maintenance is specifically for, nor whether today's Store update will be affected.

Its back up now, playing mw2 as we speak.

F**k Sony and F**k PS3. I can't get more than two bars of connection. They can get fu**ed.

I can connect to the internet but not PSN. F**k sake.

Is anyone else's playstation network down? I think its down for maintenance ATM. Error code 80710A06.

It's not maintenance anyway. Unlikely to be back up today either.

PS network still down.Really worried because games seem to be affected even offline.Hope it's not hackers ruining it for everyone again!
