2 questions I have about this knob

      1) How did he get a job as a journalist?

      2) Does he ever talk sense or just sh**e all the time?

      What a waster

      1) Ex-player with controversial views that change by the millisecond.

      2) No he does not talk sense, you only have to listen to him open his gob and it's 99% sh*te most of the time.

Egotistical c**t and nothing is ever his fault.

Yup all the above is correct , still can't help feeling now even after all these years had he stayed one more season partenering Fowler we'd have won the league.

      Back On topic.

      1. Ex payers will always get jobs in the media as the papers/tv companies feel they have that insider knowledge and familiarity that a regular Journo will never posses.

      2. Yup he talks complete bollocks and more often than not contradicts himself.

Bang on - all you need to be a pundit these days is to have played the game at some point. I would say you need to make sure you aren't a boring c**t as well, but I point you to Shearer, Ferdinand, Dixon etc....

Forgot how much this prat annoyed me until today when watching an old LFC vs Villa match. It had been after the spat he had with Harkness was settled by the PFA, he goes in and clearly tries to break the poor fellas leg, nowadays it would be a straight red and a substantial ban. I'll try to find a video.

The bloke is doing a job - meant to stir opinions

But he wasted an opportunity to be a focal part of an EPL winning team by not utilizing the talent he was born with.

He's a very touchy lad. Blocks anyone on twitter who who questions him in any way.

It's such a shame, he had the talent, he also just happened to be  tw*t.

Didn't he say in his autobiograhy the he stuck a mars bar up Kirsty Gallagher?

That's not a race based joke either, that'd probably be more like a fudge.

He was another one of Bradfords 'Famous Three' (Carbone, Petrescu and Collymore) who were on 40k a week (about 110k a week in modern terms) that pretty much crippled us and put us in this league.

His contract renewal from May has been withdrawn by Talksport.

Made a lot of mistakes in his life has Stan but I've actually grown to like him. Can't stand Talksport but I've listened to him a few times and think he was alright in the end. Seen him on the train last year and I guarantee that the people who give him down the banks wouldn't to his face. Unit.

Wonder where he'll end up next.
