Peter Crouch risks Harry Redknapp's wrath after wild night on the town with Abbey Clancy and his Tottenham team-mates
Spurs boss Harry Redknapp promised to banish the party culture from White Hart Lane back in May - but Peter Crouch and Co appear not to have been listening.
The England striker, famous for his goals on the pitch and robot dance off it, lead a posse of team-mates on a high-spirited night on the town along with girlfriend Abbey Clancy on Saturday.
The pair were joined by Crouch's Tottenham team-mates Robbie Keane, Jermaine Jenas and Jonathan Woodgate among others.
After a meal at the trendy Nobu restaurant in central London, they headed to Movida nightclub to celebrate the 2-1 victory over Portsmouth that afternoon.
Crouch and Clancy decided to toast the night by dancing through the open sunroof as their taxi home sped away.
The pictures may not be met with approval by Redknapp, who vowed to take a hardline on late-night frolicking following Ledley King's drunken escapades earlier this year..
King was involved in a drunken brawl with a nightclub bouncer and Redknapp demanded his players cut out the partying.
'I don't want player going to nightclubs and misbehaving,' he said last season. 'The problems nearly all come when players get drunk. These players are role models. They've got kids looking up to them.
'I don't think there's any place in football for drinking, for any players. I've said on several occasions to players that you don't put diesel in a Ferrari.
'I'll implement a strong rule next season that drinking is a no-no here. Footballers should not drink.
'We wouldn't get these problems if the players weren't drinking. There's still too much of a drinking culture in English football but it's not as bad as it used to be.'
