      Did anyone watch it before?

I didn't see part 1 but it was 2 tonight - Reptiles and Amphibians.

Mint it was! For someone that's not usually remotely interested in animals etc I bloody loved it.

The camera work is incredible it has to be said. Everything almost looked unreal the quality is that good.

Felt sorry for that buffalo - but then again that's nature isn't it. It can be a cruel thing.

Get on it definately, very good episode tonight!

Absolutely amazing some of the stuff that goes on and you don't have a clue about. Almost makes me feel bad, like I should know about these things!

      Agreed.

Did you watch the one tonight mate? If so, what did you make of the Dragon things eating the Buffalo?

I actually found it really sad even though that's just the way things are. I think it's the way it died more than anything.

One thing's for sure though - I couldn't do the job that them camera men do. Hats off to them, having to sit round for weeks sometimes before anything even happens. I couldn't do that. Nor could I stand watching some of the things that go on in real life probably.

Looking forward to watching this series, we are recording the whole series, from the trailers I've seen, it looks awesome.

Then again, anything with David Attenborough is always top notch, I love that man's calming voice, he's wonderful.

Quality series, I've been watching them and recording them to watch with my kids at the weekend. The camera work and sound recordings are incredible, especially when filming close up. Did you see that scene where a Pigmy Newt was standing on a leaf and a beatle came stomping past? Wow. Makes me glad I forked out for Sky+ HD and an LCD!

I was mezmorized. Although to be fair, I was for most of the program - same could be said for whole series!

I was thinking also - they say everything happens for a reason, and when I watch stuff like this, I tend to think that ideology is true.

Look at those waterfall climbing fish for example - isn't it weird how they're gifted with the capability of doing that simply because they need to?

Was it a gift or did they evolve to do it? I don't want to get into an argument about it because I'll be ranting for hours but even the most religious people should take time to read up on evolutionary 'theory' and then these sort of things will make sense. I know that Attenborough for one is very much a believer in evolution and Life does a great job of highlighting the ways in which species have evolved to survive and prosper in their respective environments.

By the way, I was mesmerized by the mudskippers altogether!

What I was asking myself too. Really is interesting.

It's on again tonight I think, but I'll be watching/following the Liverpool game.

Maybe I'll watch it tomorrow on iPlayer or something.
