      Greyhound Racing
      Oct 21, 2009 03:27:58 pm
Now as most of you know ive not been a member long on your site due to me being a manc :D. However, over the past couple of weeks ive seen how passionate you scousers are towards you're pride and joy Liverpool Football Club. Its fair to see you have all been having it bad recently due to bad performances. You've all been shouting at each others throats be it the manager / back room staff / players not putting it all in / Struggling when Gerrard and Torres not in the side etc etc etc  :-\.

Well this Manc is going to try and put a temporary smile on you're face's, at least till Sunday anyway  ;D. The ones who have read a few of my post will know i'm a Greyhound enthusiast of some sort. I follow open class dogs accross the country, along with graded dogs round my local track Belle Vue. I'm going to attemp to give you guys a winner today on the bags card  :). Now i know if it gets beaten then i will get it from both barrels because i'm a Manc ;D. Fortunatley i can take it :P. I would'nt just pick any dog because of the abuse that may follow. However, i do fancy it strongly. The going will suit it and looking at the recent results there appears to be no bias.

The dog runs at 4.57pm Belle Vue. I will post my selection up just before 4.30pm for those that like a flutter. One word of warning though, don't just back it on the phone. Go in the bookies and wait for the first price to come in from the track. Take the first price whether it be 3/1 5/2 9/4. I say this because i think it will be shorter when the hare is on the move. Why settle for 7/4 when you can possibly get 5/2

      Regards and keep the faith.

You can check results out on this site.

      http://thedogs.co.uk/trap6/res_races.php

The dog is called Rowan Rose trap 5 in the 4.57pm race at Belle Vue. On my stats it should lead before the first bend with its early pace.

Good Luck if you decide to bother ;D.

I was going to try and throw the odd winner on this section but looking at the hits i can see its not worth bothering.

Out of interest do you get weighed in off the racecourse or just your own bets?

"Weighed in" means receiving payment round here mate - I wondered what you got off the actual event organisers , obviously you have a bet on your own dog I was curious if you got prize money or suchlike.

Its easier to win with greyhounds than it is with horses. Bookies don't knock horse bets back like they do greyhounds.

I'd up for taking a few tips, love a flutter. Don't usually bet on dogs but anytime anybody gives me a 'tip' on something I can't resist. I hope your not trying to draw us in Keith by getting one member a bit of dosh and then when a good few of us get on board you put us on to some donkey!

Not at all Shanerb, I hate bookies the same way as you hate most mancs ( if not all ;D ) If we can take a few bob off them then great. The meeting starts about 2.15pm. We're off to a good start with a 5/2 winner so lets see if we can get another. Will post my selection up about 2.20pm or send you a private message. Just make sure you're in the bookies and take the first show because I do think the price will go shorter. You don't want sp, you want first show. Its important you get as much out of those scum bookies as you can ;D

Ps. Do you use Paddy Power?

2.57pm Belle Vue Trap 4 Beckhams Boss. Take the first show because it will finish shorter.

      Good Luck.

That ran poor to be honest even though it did get a bad bump at the first bend. Double trapping from the boxes was the dogs down fall.
      Sorry.
