Thought it would be a good idea if I created a new topic where everyone can post their Junior/Amateur football teams results and how the team are doing overall. Also if you do play for a team, tell us about your position, past goals you've scored (right or wrong end
), how your team compares to other teams in the league etc.
I'll get us going....I play for a Sunday league Amateur football team called Mid Calder United (Can find us on bebo just search MidCalder United) Play all over the midfield really, usually find myself playing left wing but have been switched into the middle which I prefer. Not really a great team if I'm honest but the banter is superb with the lads. We are improving every game though. Got a rival team in the league called The Grove Bar, who we recently drew 4-4 with, not a bad result considering we were 3-1 down with 10 men. Recently got put out the Scottish Cup by Tranent 2-0
Hard one to take but the league is the priority.
This Sunday we have Stewartfield who are a poor side that we should beat so fingers crossers, won't be involved in this one due to sprained ligaments in me ankle but not so bad as I get to watch the Reds on Sunday afternoon.
