Nice to see him come through the full 90 mins welcome back michael.

My mate is a Reading fan and he went to the Union to watch the game, I asked if Owen played and he said he played the whole 90 mins and looked good, though he could get better.

I really liked him, so I'm glad he's playing again His injury was awful!!

I was shocked he played 90+ minutes last night, it really does surprise me when players join newcastle, everyone seems to get injured up there, must be something in the water, or the newcastle brown ale.

No it's just the defensers are so bad that they tackle their own player on trainings..
Coming back to owen, good to see him back playing he is certainely an asset for english football. It was quite impressive 90 minutes to be honest, hopefully he won't get injured in the next three months.

Owen was always a favourite - and saved our bacon more than once, so good luck to him.
............but talk about a poor decision, leaving Liverpool to win more trophies, and since he left we've won the FA Cup, Champions League and now in another Champions League Final. I'm sure Michael walks around saying "Doh!", whenever he reflects on his decision.

By the way, as much of an Owen fan that I've been - how in hell can the pundits be suggesting he's an automatic selection for the England squad ?
