European Cup Final - Liverpool FC vs AC Milan (23/5/07) - Team etc discussion

I'm sad  :'(   I did shed a few tears last night and then had to have even more alcohol to cope with the fact we lost!!  Well done to LFC for playing well......chances missed I know but I still feel sincerely proud of them all!!!

I can't say I'm not proud of the players, but I don't feel happy one little bit, still really really down - I think it's a mixture of the defeat and the fact that the weather has been SO gorgeous this week and I've been stuck in the library revising :'(

 "GUTTED & DRUNK "and still feel we may of got the 2nd goal.Not felt as bad since 96 fa cup FINAL.Players need a good break now to  recharge there batteries. & get the PREMIERSHIP & BIG EARS BACK next season.(we are still the last english team to do the treble)

well, i'm glad that we are all light hearted. it was a hard faught game, and we can't do anythin to change it. but next year, milan 'd better watch theri tails, cause wer'e after old Big Ears and the Premeirship. bring it on!!!!

Don't think Milan will be at the Final next year...we have a better chance to be so....

Just looking through some old threads to remind myself that unlike some we haven't been in the wilderness for years.After our 2nd CL final in 3 seasons we were so close to making that next step.Happy days lets hope we have things to cheerabout again instead of getting annoyed with each other.

Torres is not a  LFC type of player or man.....he'd be great at Man Utd...think he'd fit in well there....anyway...Back to the topic.....just hope we don't  suffer any injuries before the big day....like Rafa playing with a potentially reserve team untill then....keep'em hungry rafa!
