Well, Rafa's just made it more difficult for us to get a result today. Obviously Skrtel & Agger will be injured or ill, but Voro-F***ing-nin!?

I'm going for a 6-3 win. Degen hat trick of own goals within the first half, undone by a hat trick to the same man in the second half in the right net. Torres can have the other 3.

Well, I should shut my mouth, because I've said often enough Rafa should leave players out who aren't 100% - I just hope he isn't resting lads for the sake of it. If he'd played our best XI in midweek it'd be understandable, but at this stage of the season, surely a week's rest is enough for these professionals?

Subs: Zuberbuhler, Kelly, Nevland, Gera, Riise, Etuhu, Smalling.

Schwarzer is in fine form, we need to be clinical otherwise it could be one of those days. Lets hope Zamora doesn't have the only good game of his career against us.

Appears Konchesky and Etuhu have recovered from knocks earlier in the week, or with their injuries might be forced to play through some discomfort.

I think Degen is more likely to score than Voronin to be honest

I reckon Voro could be quite useful up front with Torres, bit of a makeshift team but we should be okay. But if you want real quality, check out our depthy bench

I'd love to see Eccleston come on second half and play up top with Torres. I think he could cause some real problems. They won't know anything about him and might just concentrate on keeping Torres out of the game.

As for our subs bench, just hope we dont need them to try and get back in the game or find a winner, because nobody there is upto it. 

I don't agree to be honest, from what I've seen of Eccleston he's more than capable of getting a goal for us, new to the Premiership I know, but I'm confident in his ability.  Spearing as well is a trier and can cause trouble for opposition defences.

I should be able to include Babel in that statement, but the way he's playing at the moment is crap and his confidence is completely shot.

Wow, quite a weakened team that, strange that some of the usual faces are missing.
