That's quite a big deal. Congrats to them. Seems a lot from the younger generation could learn what the word "commitment" means.

Appreciating the halo currently around the moon, with a guest appearance from Jupiter.

Getting a new boiler fitted today, heatings been fine but had no hot water in over a week, and not having an electric shower has really bitten me on the arse, cold showers in this weather been a right pain  it is a 23 year old boiler though apparently so needed doing, it’s been struggling the last few winters…

So I’ve left them too it and currently sat in Toby Carvery enjoying the warmth and unlimited breakfast  will pop back at 11 for a bit then head back here for a carvery lunch and enjoy the warmth again until they kick me out 

Gonna gain about 3 stone today alone 

Heading home on bus from a bit of Xmas shopping. Managed to get through the crazy arse traffic in old swan

Been on it the past six days few things coincided with me not having a day off the ale , but had my first lie in this morning , decided to whack a curry on its gently simmering away now got two carcasses on the simmer as well making a stock for the freezer always handy for when you feel like whacking a soup on , mind I am back on it tonight after the game of course .

Aye could have been worse I suppose but can honestly say when the car started to roll over me the most scared I've been in my life.

Going well though and just to get lesion on liver checked out and another x-ray then fingers crossed on the road to recovery

Get well soon mate. I had a similar thing a few years back, rolled over in a car involved in a RTA and the shock as it was happening was probably worse than the injuries. Had that split of moment of thinking I was done for.
