  I'm very happy for you!

Watching the NFL & drinking a beautiful Pumpkin Ale (of which I have five more). Just checked my dvr to make sure the match is ready to go tomorrow as I have work & school and won't be able to watch until Tuesday evening.  Happy to see it will be on ESPN HD - what a treat!  ;D

What's happened to it? Has it just stopped working? If it's just the brushes that's gone on it, there's an electrical shop down County Rd or Walton Rd that sells them.

Not sure whats wrong with it Ken, its quiet when it does a slow spin, but when it picks up speed, terrible knocking noises coming from it.  Thought I'd knocked the drum out of sync with too much washing in it, but have given it a good 'waggle' and its still the same.  Was gonna get someone out to look at it, but i'd rather put the money towards a new one to be honest, I've had this one for about 5 years so its probably on its way out  :-\

Just spent half an hour looking, after settling on the one I want, its out of stock  ::)

Will keep checking this week see if it comes in.

Yeh if its noisy and knocking under a fast spin your bearings are possibly on the way out, expensive fix as its a total strip down of the unit, drum out and then replace bearings. Probably better buying a new one as like you say you've had it five years.

Edit: may be worth while just getting a technician out to check and to give you a quote though just in case its something minor...may save you pennies in the run up to Christmas.
