Watching Rick Stein & Hairy bikers cooking programmes whilst fasting.. 😂

Putting aside religious commitment and so on - speaking as a respectful atheist - I so admire my Muslim friends and neighbours through this period.

I can't even begin to function hungry much less work and live a productive life.

Been in work for 25 minutes and had enough already. Slept like a baby and woke up in a really crabby mood. Just hurry up tomorrow night.

Having a lazy dozy Saturday afternoon,  maybe a beer or two and a bite to eat. Can't beat a nice sunny summer weekend. Anything happening later ?

Just home from work and the wife tells me she's on the way home with a 12 pack and a Pizza.

      S'pose she's not that bad of a c**t.

It’s been a strange couple of weeks for me. My Mum died after a short and sudden illness, then a few days later I had a first interview and then a second, only to be offered a new job which I start next week. Then Liverpool just go ahead and dump Barca out of Europe and go beat Spurs in the final for number 6!!

Anyway, my brother wrote this about my Mum and it was published online and in today’s Guardian if anyone’s interested. The words mean a lot to me. An amazing woman ❤️❤️❤️
