Thousands of fans where left high and dry last night after singer Morrissey stormed off stage. The former Smiths front man was into his second song when someone from the audiance threw a bottle at him the singer responded by just vacating  the stage to leave the crowd totaly in the lurch....Where you there?

It was a plastic pint glass a third full.

Apparently the fella who threw it was arrested and is from Burnley.

Still - that Morrissey is a F***ing whopper for not coming back on.  Feel sorry for the 8000 fans.

Bit of a gimp for f*cking off 8000 fans.

Oasis stopped during their gig at the Echo Arena to tell people off but at least they carried on.

Thing is though, didn't Morrissey collapse on stage a few weeks ago? I presume the last thing he needs after a scare like that is some tit launching a plastic bottle/glass unexpectedly onto the top of his head from the crowd.

Sadly we live in an age where some people don't have any respect. Combine that with some people taking ale into the arena and you're gonna get some bellend thinking he's dead funny. And ruining things for everyone else.

Think it was a bit sh*t the way he didn't come back to perform after he'd cooled down. All those fans must have been fuming. But in the circumstances, I don't blame him too much.

Wouldn't be surprised to see a no drinks in the arena space policy soon after this. I've heard a few tales of people getting pissed up and causing hassle in there.

They should get a refund as he didn't go back on, after all it was only a pint cup made out of plastic, hardly going to do damage. If it was glass then would have been understandable. He let one pr**k ruin it for everyone and he got a big profit from it.

The thing is it's giving a great venue a bad name and of course it's our city of which no doubt we shall be called again.I still think though he should have played on and put two fingers up to the idiot!

Morrissey sucks ass anyway. The bloke was doing the crowd a favour if you ask me but a half house-brick would have done a better job on the wussy whore.

Isn't this the same guy who used to dance around at every Smiths show under a constant barrage of Flowers and Roses?  Getting hit with a plastic cup of water and storming off, not coming back is a bit much. I'd be pissed If I was at the show. Typical reaction nowadays. Its always 1 person who does something stupid and the rest suffer.

      "Stop me, Stop me'

What's his problem with somebody attempting to.

      Maybe he was just shy.
