We've made £1.5M profit, if we completely forget that we paid him wages!

I'm actually surprised we're getting anything for him.

Absolutely useless. We won't miss him at all.

      Great bit of business this.

Out with the old in with the new as they say, I hope we generate enough money for another decent player after Maxi arrives, maybe a decent fullback for about 5 million? Since we've only got Insua and Aurelio now.

Both have been waiting to catch flights to undergo medicals and tie up their respective moves.

£1.5m for Voronin, paid £1.5m for Maxi. Breaking even here whilst improving our squad significantly.

      Excellent.

Atletico must feel robbed. There is no way that Maxi and Voronin are worth the same amount of money.

Even better. Got him for free, he plays like utter sh*te yet we can flog him for a good price seeing as i thought we'd have to be the ones paying somebody to take him.

I will be delighted if he leaves- no harm to him but not of Liverpool standard. Plus, i knew Dinamo would pay a good fee- they always pay crazy fees for substandard players. But, not getting too excited- have this feeling he will fail a medical or reject the move :(

Liverpool FC this afternoon confirmed the transfer of Andrea Dossena to Napoli for a fee of 4.25 million Euros.

The club also announced they had reached agreement with Dinamo Moscow for the transfer of striker Andriy Voronin for 2 million Euros.

The player has also agreed personal terms, with paperwork for the deal set to be completed over the weekend.

Excellent 6 million to reinvest then! If 1.5 goes on Maxi, then perhaps with the sale of Babel for 10+ million we can afford another 15 million player should Rafa see the need for one. However slow this is going, it looks like Rafa had a plan for the window and for once it's actually being put into action. All this transfer news has brightened up my day for sure.
