Liverpool Beta Website...

Last re-launched in April 2004, Liverpoolfc.tv has won numerous awards and established itself as the most visited football club website in the UK as well as one of the most visited sports sites on the web. 
But just as Rafael Benitez is always looking for his players to reach a higher level on the field, we felt improvements could be made online with a new website giving you an even better content offering and the chance for you to interact with fellow fans more than ever before.
 
The new website was created following extensive consultation with supporters, but before releasing it worldwide we have made available a beta version so we can check how it performs on our technical platform.
 
Don't worry that the content is not up to date; this beta version purely exists to see how it copes with differing levels of traffic to the site. We have some known issues which we are working hard to correct and some features are currently disabled until we launch the site for real.
 
None of that should stop you having a surf around the new site to see how it works for you though.
 
One thing to be aware of is that while log-in and registration on our new site does work, for the time being you will be redirected back to our current website. If this happens to you, simply go back to beta.liverpoolfc.tv.

The site's up and running. Must say, it looks awesome. It's got a very modern look about it.

Looks pretty decent, though really it's the content that matters, not the look.

If they can avoid putting so many crap features like the Media Watch and so on, that'd already be an improvement.

Looks Ok, but for all of those folks out there with slower PC's it's gonna be a bugger. Autotrader has done the same, and just does not work.

Why the hell in the box underneath the calender, amongst the tags have they put Owen and United?!

I know it's for a tag but still, have some dignity, the old website was starting to become bad and this one hasn't improved if they leave that there.

Do not like it looks all too complicated to me, I prefer the simple layout they've got at the moment.

Got to say the new website looks much more sleak, but I think the layout is getting a little too common as well. About time we had a new change to the site, but sometimes it gets on my nerves because of the difficulty of navigating around it - I just need more time to explore and get used to it!

Looks like the Mancs and Chavs also have a pretty similar design to ours as well, having checked them out to see why does it look a little all too familiar to me.

Just had a look through it now and think it's awful.

Arghhhhh its a b***ard waiting for it to load, don't get much bandwitidth in Uni halls at all and it really shows on this site. Been loading for last 5 mins!

Have to say i agree. May get used to it, but at the moment its a god awful shitty mess to get through.

bring back the old website much faster and easy to use than this one
