Who Do You Know "For Real" On The Forum?

I was wondering how many of us know one another outside the forum.

Have you met up with anyone since joining, are you friends with other members, did you grow up or go to school with any of the other people on here? Simple curiosity on my part! You could share some of your stories to give everyone a giggle and help us get to know one another a bit better.

For my part, I've been chatting with you all for a good while and feel I know many of you pretty well, but the only person I've actually met from the forum is BigRed1978. We went to the same secondary school, and quite often went out for a few bevvies over the years.

Despite not having seen him for a long time - me moving to France probably didn't help things! - he's one of the soundest blokes you could meet. A proper good mate and a good laugh to boot!

I've known redkenny for about 25 years.

Met plenty of others off the forum.

I'm friends with and met redkenny, Gow, MsGerrard, Venison, JD, CRK,Huyton Red, Brian78, MrTommo and Crazy Horse (sorry if I've missed anyone  )  Never knew any of these people till I came on here, am glad I did, all of these people are absolutely brilliant, kind and genuine and I feel like I've known them for years.  Ayrton is also a good mate, plenty of banter    Pity you can't get over here, would love to meet you

Everyone I've met off here is sound as a pound, really good people, like an extended family.

Finally, i'm about to tell you guys! The only person I know "for real" on the forum is FP928. She's, my cousin whom I got into supporting Liverpool.

Good work Adryan, recruiting for the cause Ive tried to get a few of my mates back in Australia on here but all of em aren't big internet users, apart from facebook and sh*t, and i don't think they can be arsed

I really hope i will get the chance to meet some of you guys in the future. RK, Gow, Ayrton, RedRoy, Brooklyn Red, Adryan, ROF, MsG, Aussie etc are all great to talk to and banter a bit with, and hopefully will see most of you for a beer before a match at Anfield in the future.

Met loads of faces at the forum do.  Met a fair few since then.  All sound people.  In general I'd say it takes somebody really passionate about the reds to sign up and post about them.  And because (almost) everyone who signs up here is a red you already have something pretty big in common.

Pre forum the only person I knew was Huyton Red who I have known for 27 years.

Still a few staff who I haven't met but I'm sure I will hunt them down over a long enough time.  Always a pleasure meeting anybody from the forum and I'm fairly sure it has generated quite a lot of friendships in its relatively brief space of time.  If you think about Facebook for example you don't actually make 'new' contacts really on there - it tends to be on website and forums where you have a particular passion. Oh and dating sites.

Oh and I'd like to meet Ross so I can knee-cap him.

Oh Yeah !!!  how could I forget AussieRed when he made that memorable visit to Liverpool last year !!   Brilliant time was had by all !!  Forgot to mention andylfcynwa, sorry mate, how could I forget you ?    Also RED1028 at the Charity Do with his dad and uncle  

Would also love to meet gareth, DLS, elbatez, bpatel, Ross, Res and Paulrobbo !!  One day maybe    Oh!  and court, bloody hell there's so many !!
