To be honest I believe if we'd have been in for him he'd have come here, I'm not going to shoot the lad down as at one time he made no secret of wanting to join us, just we never went all out to get him..Valencia wanted and teh bid was accepted the lad signed simples.

So both have went from first team football with the security of champions league football (at least i think Valencia are in at least the qualifying rounds, anyone confirm?) to the mancs who have had how much success exactly? ... Silly silly boys. Especially Toure, first team football in arguably Europe's best team at the moment.

Not really, he lost his spot to Busquets last season, he hardly played. Not surprising he join his brother.

Well, we weren't expected to sign Silva anyway. But weird he's about to join a team not in the Champions League.

Rather have Ozil and/or Muller at this moment.

It's a pity how money has played such a huge part in recent seasons in the beautiful game.

He was never going to come here. In fact, where would have he played if he came here? He was decent as a winger and there's no way he could have played in his best position with Gerrard still there.

This, unfortunately, proves that City can now attract world-class players.

Chances of top four next year have now gotten a bit slimmer providing he settles, hopefully he will take his WC form into the Prem. Gunna sell the tw*t on Football Manager

After Mancini turned the corner for them, they've became a better footballing side as compared to when Hughes was around.

They missed out on Champions League football narrowly, but will continue to go from strength to strength in this transfer market. It's frightening. I believe with the implemenatation of the spending cap in 2012, City will be doing all they can this 2 years to build a settled, young squad which they can use for years.

I fear what they're capable of next season, really. They've got money, they've been able to attract world beaters without CL football, and I think they're definitely in a better position to finish in the top four than us next season. Unless the 15th July deal goes through, which unfortunately I think it will not now.

City signing their first big name could be the start of a much harder life for us and Arsenal.

Arsenals is self inflicted though, Wenger has the money to spend but chooses not to. I wish we had that luxury.

      :-\?

Johnson and Silva can play on either wing and Silva can also play as a support striker.

Can't wait to find out what wage Silva is on, that will show whether or not he has gone for the money or whether he actually believes they have potential.
